believe that education should be accessible for all, no matter your health, needs or background. As a teenager, I struggled at high-school and had poor attendance due to what I now know is a condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. At the time, I found it incredibly challenging to attend school, and even when I was at school, just walking between classrooms and focusing on lessons was a huge challenge for me.

As a native New Yorker from America, I grew up in a rich and diverse neighborhood where Spanish was commonly spoken. I later pursued my love of Spanish and qualified as a Spanish Teacher for students between the ages of 11-18. I would love to share this language and culture with others. If you're interested in learning Spanish, please do not hesitate to contact me. Learning a new language can be daunting, but it can also be fun!

My son has today just finished his time at the Learning Curve where he has had tuition for A-Level English Language. Jen has been totally professional, approachable and above all honest. Jen began tutoring my son herself but then advised me she had got so far with him that her skills allowed and had sourced another teacher for him who she felt could really push him to the next level. I appreciated Jen's honest approach, many companies could have easily continued to take my money! My son has found the lessons to be a great help to him and I am very grateful for The Learning Curve for giving him that extra boost. Hopefully it will show in his results in August. Thanks to Jen and Ivana

I began Ibrahim Ibrahim Tuition upon graduating from the London School of Economics, as I believe that education has the most profound impact on society and have always been very grateful for the people and institutions that have provided me with excellent opportunities and education over the years. I specialise in Economics, Maths and Further Maths at A-level and Maths and Sciences at GCSE. I also offer extensive support with university applications, from deciding a degree and institution, to writing the personal statement and interview preparations. In my years of tutoring, I have achieved incredible results with students of differing ages and abilities. A few examples include taking students from level 3 in GCSE maths all the way to a level 8 in under a year; refining students abilities in GCSE/A-level maths to help them achieve a grade 9/A*; as well as many successes in Economics including one student who went from a D to an A*, with some of my current students on track to go to LSE and study Economics like I did! To see more feedback please see my google reviews (google Ibrahim Ibrahim Tuition) or you can view some of these in the photos section. Also, please do take the time to have a look through the FAQs section below for more information on why you should choose me! Thank you so much for your time and I do hope to hear from you soon! Ibrahim
The best part of my job is the difference I see in students’ confidence. Many students don’t realise their own ability due to factors that are outside of their control, and 1-1 tuition is an amazing way to show students that with the right amount of patience and hard work they can achieve anything that they set their minds to! It’s truly inspirational to see their confidence grow and for them to have this confirmed through their grades at school.
While studying Economics at the LSE, I was constantly wondering what would the best way to make an impact on the world. I truly believe that passing on my education is the best way to achieve this and through 1-1 tuition I am able to do so by considering every student’s individual needs, allowing them to truly reach their full potential and exceed what they thought they were capable of.
I am an independent tutor. This means that unlike large tuition centres I tailor my services specifically to each student and provide them with my full attention and support, whether this is for exams or university applications. I have had many clients come to me after spending years with tuition centres who give out homogenous work and advice to every student, and they have seen more progress in 1 month than they do with years at these institutions.
Yes, all of my tuition is online. I provide my services via zoom. I write on my iPad which is projected onto the students’ screens, acting as a whiteboard where they can clearly see all the working out required. They are also able to contribute by writing on the screen themselves. I have found that this is a significantly more effective teaching method than in-person, due to the efficiency and speed of technology which allows me to pull up resources in an instant which would previously have to be printed beforehand.
I am fully online-based since the Covid pandemic. This is because even since the end of lockdown, all of my students much prefer online learning and therefore have chosen to continue this way.
