I was inspired 15 years ago to become a therapist when a close family member ran into difficulties with addiction, and i was very much involved with his emotional issues, and it was a rollercoaster ride trying to help him to recovery. I experienced a lot in that time and felt that we didn't have the appropriate professional support when we needed it. I decided at that time to change my career and dedicate myself to supporting people with emotional issues, hence becoming a counsellor.
I have been told i am very good at what i do! I am not a 'text-book' counsellor as i bring a lot of my own personality to my work. I put everything i have got into gaining an understanding of what a client is going through, and always give my own perspective on things. I am always 100% committed to getting to the heart of the matter, and building up my clients confidence through out the process.
