What do you love most about your job?

I love working with my clients and watching them succeed. Often my clients know their issues and have all the ideas and solutions, they just don't know how to bring it all together. I love watching the passion of motivated people and the appreciation I get when they succeed.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I started life as a civil engineer and worked my way through council, utilities, and engineering companies.

I started working with small projects, ended up with multi-million-dollar projects. I worked my way through doing business case studies and spent a lot of time doing actually strategy for different organizations. I then ended up working for multinationals, but it can be a little bit soul-destroying working for New York-listed companies.

I look back at my father, who runs a small business all his life and it soon becomes an easy decision to make, that you actually want to get back and actually work with small businesses.

So, I've been able to manage to leverage off my big business experience and actually try to bring that back into the small business arena, so I've spent the last ten years transitioning from multinational companies to the business advisory that I'm actually operating today.

Every solution is a bespoke one. Every person and business is different and no one prepackaged solution will turn them into a success. Whilst I have a lot of tools in my that I use, I only bring out the ones relevant to the problem we are addressing.

We use a mix of online and face to face work. While we can work effectively completely online, it can provide some difficulting if workshopping or brainstorming activities are needed. We can customise every engagement to the requirement of the client and the engagement.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We operate under a COVID plan. Much of our work is remote which is as safe as it can be. When on-site we follow good hygiene practises.
