Do you say “yes” to things out of obligation more than internal conviction? Do YOU get lost in the busyness of work, school, or relationships? Does it seem like you must postpone your dreams until... someday? I help people discover why they are here and foster a life that lets them pursue it - right in their current context with the resources they already have. I don’t think anyone should spend years of their life “waiting” for the time they can really live. Life doesn't have to feel like a “holding cell” during parenting years, while a spouse pursues their dreams, in exchange for a paycheck, or while taking care of aging parents. You can find success & meaning in your career, raise kids to be resilient adults, maintain solid relationships, & carve out time to take care of yourself & pursue your interests. Via Zoom, we'll get really detailed on your short-term vision, and spend time working toward making that vision a reality. Over time, one short-term vision at a time, your long-term purpose will become a reality. You'll be equipped and empowered to live the life you were made for - honoring commitments, pursuing dreams, and enjoying healthy relationships. My clients routinely say they live with confidence, clarity, & purpose they didn’t have before coaching with me. After a 12-session Coaching Series, they say they’ve gained perspective, made measurable progress on meaningful goals, & learned how to renegotiate the things that drain them. In short - they learn to navigate a life that supports them & allows them to thrive in relationships while pursuing their dreams. I am a wife, mother of seven awesome kiddos, coach, author, personality growth specialist, & Advanced Relational Wisdom Instructor. I have BAs in Math & Physics and advanced training in Personality Growth, Emotional Intelligence, Coaching Mastery, & Family Systems. I took the long way to arrive at a life of intentionality. Let me show you the shortcut to finding your purpose and reverse-engineering your life to fulfill it.

What do you love most about your job?

Are you kidding me? I get a front-row seat to watch lives transformed! Who wouldn't LOVE that?!?

My clients are folks who are doing “fine” but feel like there is more to life - or perhaps like they are getting lost in the mundaneness of everyday life.

Often they feel a little guilty because they look like they have everything together - but something about life just feels off - like it’s not quite enough - or like what they really want (and they can’t always say what that is), but what they really want is on hold for “someday."

The thing I love most about coaching is that day when my clients recognize they are honoring their commitments and loving the life they built. So often the change is slow and "success" sort of creeps up on them. All of a sudden, the realization that they feel whole and purposeful hits them.

That's my absolute favorite day with a client! And THAT's why I coach.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I think we only really have NOW. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not promised - so how can we weave little bits of those things we think have to put off into the NOW we have to work with?

Starting Cultivate Grace was my NOW and I'm all about helping others rediscover their dreams and find ways to follow them - without waiting for "someday."

So many people spend their days answering the call of other people rather than their heart. I started coaching so I could help people to hear their inner passion and voice again, and step into a life that honors it.

This is different than just quitting your day job or leaving your family or 'casting off the ties that bind' - this is about honoring your current context and commitments while simultaneously learning to rediscover and pursue your dreams.

I don’t think anyone should spend years of their life “waiting” for the time they can really live. I want to see folks live fully throughout all the seasons of their life.

I don't believe there should be some “holding cell” during parenting years, while a spouse pursues their dreams, in exchange for a paycheck, or while taking care of aging parents. Those seasons can be consuming - especially if we don’t keep our finger on the pulse of our identity. I believe we can weave in progress (even if small) on our life-goals in the midst of these periods of life.

I believe every person has potential and something to contribute to the world - their little small world or the whole great big giant world - or anything in between. I enjoy helping people find their vision for why they are here and foster a life that lets them pursue it - right in their current context with the resources they already have.

Why should our clients choose you?

I coach people to help them picture what they hope life will be like in say, 6 months, then we reverse-engineer their daily choices to bring that hope to life in a way that allows them to their existing context and commitments.

My approach to coaching is to commit to a series of 12 sessions - which can be 12 weeks/3 months, if done weekly, or about 6 months if we meet twice a month (which is really the most common choice, because… life, am I right?).

We pick 2-3 areas on which to focus during the series - and we get crystal clear on what the client wants to be different when that end date arrives. Then we start talking about what needs to be discovered or done to accomplish those objectives.

I strongly believe each person is the expert on themselves and that they are a deep mine of treasure - my job is to bring all that amazing stuff to the surface and leverage it to empower them to build the life they want.

In the 12th session, I like to review the series with the client so we can celebrate success.

My clients consistently report they have increased clarity, hope, and confidence - as if for the first time they understand the value of who they are as an individual and feel capable of bringing that value to their life in ways that feel meaningful. This is especially important for all the people who've lived with the message that they are "just too much" or "need to get out of their heads" or some other soundtrack of how they are "broken."

Once they are free to step into honoring their unique self and the superpowers that come with how they're wired and different than everyone else - it just opens a whole world of opportunities.

In the interest of full disclosure: most of the time my clients decide to jump into another series to leverage their progress or to move forward in ways they couldn’t previously imagine possible. I frequently work with a client for a second - and sometimes third or fourth - series.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Absolutely!

Actually, I only work with clients online. I find the absence of travel time and the freedom to talk in a familiar environment huge benefits. After a call, it's so awesome for a client to have 10-15 minutes to capture their thoughts rather than jump in a car and deal with traffic.

I do ask clients to find a location free from distraction/interruption, with a strong internet connection.

Just so you know: I currently meet via Zoom (preferred), Facebook Messenger (this works best for many of my international clients), and FaceTime.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Since I only meet remotely, coaching with me adds zero risk for Covid-19.
