I desired to do right by my patients because I understood the significant impact of being whole and well, mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually versus the negative trajectory a life without wholeness created (e.g. Unhealthy individuals -->unhealthy relationships -->unhealthy families-->unhealthy children -->unhealthy communities, etc....rinse & repeat!). Therefore, I took longer with my patients to ensure they felt heard and to also ensure correct diagnoses which leads to correct treatment which promotes health & healing & empowerment, in addition to improved healthcare literacy which leads to autonomy & self-advocacy! My practice model did not fit what healthcare has become, so, here I am!
