I am an internationally recognised FRC mobility specialist and EQF level 4 personal trainer with 5+ years of personal training experience and years of high of level sporting experience, I specialize in weight management, ergonomics, mobility and athletic performance.
I attended Catherine when she first started out & even then you could tell she has a natural talent for helping people achieve their physical goals. I was amazed to see results very quickly, she is a fantastic trainer! I would highly recommend!
I also brought my boyfriend along who needed a little nudge back into fitness, working in an office job. He really got the buzz working out with Catherine, he loved it!! And I have to say the results were fantastic, thanks Catherine!! �....but really it started him back to a healthy active, physical lifestyle which is a wonderful thing.
This is the perfect place to train, no matter what level you are at. There is something for everyone here. The trainers are great and tailer things for your needs and most of all they care!!! You don't get that in many gyms! They work hard to help you achieve you goals! If your not happy, they are not happy. They push you hard, make you sweat but you will see the results you have always thought you worked hard to get but never did!!!!! Highly recommended! Miss it loads since I broke my foot.
Myself and my friend went today for a deal we got at Christmas...... Wow wow wow we were treated so well from the time we arrived until we left...... The girls are super are their job it was one of the most enjoyable spa experiences I've had..... I would recommend the spa 100% it was so lovely...... I will be back thanks again girls for a lovely day... Annette
Having not been near a gym in over 4 months I was worried about returning to one today. There was no need the Semi PT sessions are fantastic, 45 mins workouts targeting the body using weights, they track your reps weights and measurements. Have signed up for the next 4 weeks and not dreading my next class....result!
I was lucky enough to get a place on Emma’s Fitness and Wellness retreat this year. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had, very professional and friendly.
Location and accommodation was beautiful, we enjoyed the most delicious plant-based food, and all activities were excellent from daily Pilates and Yoga classes to Stand Up Paddle Boarding and sound baths – it really was all encompassing for wellness. I do Pilates regularly and still found Emma’s Lagree Pilates method challenging and enjoyable, especially in that Ibiza heat!
10/10 would recommend to a friend and I hope this is the first of many retreats for Emma & Pilates Plus Dublin
The gym rocks. Great trainers who are friendly and really helpful, plenty of classes to suit all fitness levels, atmosphere always good. This is the place to go if you want to get into shape. Can't recommend it enough
A well equipped gym and always friendly knowledgeable staff to help you out. The aqua aerobics is not only a great workout but made very enjoyable by Tales. Overall the staff here make your visit a very pleasant one.
Feeling good after a one to one session with Catriona today, it was tailored to my fitness level and really helped identify where i was going wrong even with basics moves.... I don't believe i will be balancing on a tree branch tomorrow but i think with a bit of practice and Catriona's guidance i will improve in line with my personal goalsThe initial session started by talking through what i wanted to achieve and look at what can help me get there, this was then followed by yoga practice, where Catriona watched and corrected my posture. The session ended with relaxation. The room was bright, spacious and comfortable, mats and blankets were provided.Looking forward to my follow up session
I have been going to Energie on Claredon St. for over a year and half now and I am a very happy customer.Before joining I had a look at pretty much every gym in the city centre and they were all either too crowded, too expensive or quite run-down looking . I find this is perfect for my needs. The gym itself is not huge but it never gets too crowded, even at peak times: yes, you might need to queue the odd time to use some machines but nothing compared to other gyms I have been to.The machines always work and are very well maintained.There is 2 locker rooms, one downstairs and one on the top floor, and they are very clean , which for me is a major plus.Other facilities include a big enough swimming pool, steam room, sauna and a small jacuzzi. There is a lot of free classes (spin, TRX, swimming, yoga, kettlebells), most of them can booked online, while some of them you can just show up. The staff is extremely nice and helpful too and you can always grab any of the instructors and ask them for tips.You also get a 5 weeks program when you start which I found very helpful since I hadn't been in a gym for quite a long time and needed some advice/ guidance based on what my objectives were. You can also periodically book an appointment to get a new program or review your current one for free.Finally the thing I probably like the most about this gym is the variety of customers. I was a bit "shy" when I started but found their motto "we are not a big scary gym" is quite accurate as there really is a great mix of people, from body builders to average people who are there to be fit and healthy.Would definitely recommend this gym to anyone, whether you are looking to seriously bulk up, tone or just want to get some exercise.
I've been working with Keith a few months now and in just that short time I've seen noticeable increases in strength, fitness and muscle definition! I'm fitter, stronger (and thinner) than I've ever been!

Matt was my personal trainer for nearly a year. We worked on issue I had with my posture and Matt created several programs which really worked in helping me adjust my posture and relieve pain I was experiencing. In the time working with Matt I found him to be very knowledgeable and extremely enthusiastic and can honestly say experienced great benefits from the work we did. I would wholeheartedly recommend Matt as a personal.
I have been a member of Underground Fitness for 1 year now and can easily say I've never been in better shape. Lost weight, gained muscle and have never felt better. Coaches are great and the large amount of classes every day make it easy to find something that fits your schedule. I highly recommend giving it a shot!
I started with Rob in September, I'd never set foot in a gym before that, I didn't know what to expect at the start but Rob took things easy and the fitness built up quickly.
It's an early start at 7 but its the only time I had to do this and it's worked out really well. There's a good buzz around the place, no posers, no BS, just hard workers. I'd recommend this for anyone struggling to get into shape, show up, do the work, follow the food guides and things start to change. It's the best thing I've ever done.
Don't think about it too long, just try it, you won't be sorry. Life Changer.
This is a great class and a brilliant workout if you want results this is the class to take. You work as hard as you want but you will work. I have lost 20lbs and haven't been this fit since my injury. It's the one workout that actually does work. Leighton is a great instructor, great group go to his classes and there is a super atmostphere, it is actually fun and you will see the results quite quickly. So give the class a go you won't be disappointed.
I am loving every experience i have at lift training studios. I always feel that i have completed an enjoyable yet challenging workout. Niamh is so dedicated to all and ensures each client is satisfied and is working at their own pace in order to get the results they desire. I would highly recommend lift training studios if you want get strong and fit!!
Absolutely love this gym, the people are like a family, the trainers are great and full of life. The craic we have while still working out makes it so much easier and as for the nights out well you just have to join to experience this for yourselves
For years I was going to the gym without doing certain exercises as I didn't want to damage my back . Alex taught me how to do deadlift , squats and other exercises properly. I also wasn't working my plan or diet efficiently . Alex did a food plan and taught me a bit about nutrition . He is a great motivator also , sending text messages at different times of the day / night to help keep my diet on track and giving me a push when I needed it . Would highly recommend
This gym is truly fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and the staff are so approachable, your always met with the warmest welcome. I’ve been in many gyms and the trainers here are the best I’ve come across. Classes are tough and you work hard but they are also great fun. I’m very greatful to Denis and the team for pushing me to my full ability in every class and the results have been very rewarding. In 8 weeks I completely transformed my body shape, no stopping now. I have being going to ROD fitness now for the last few months and finding it very good, Rory is very professional and very flexible with times as I am a shift workers he fits me in at different time, I would highly recommend him as a fitness instructor

Great friendly and welcoming atmosphere in this gym. I'd never done any personal training before and couldn't recommend the small group personal training classes any higher. The coaches are great, the classes are challenging but suit all ability and fitness levels! I started with the one month trial and really enjoyed it and was already seeing benefits in all aspects of my health and fitness.
Great Spin classes at Andy Kenny's gym. They vary on duration and intensity depending on your level. Very good if you want to become a better cyclist or if you want to get fit. Great tunes too! Thanks Andy and Pamela
I had got out of the habit of attending the gym. It had been 18-24 months since I had a regular training schedule. There were also a lot of excuses, traveling for business had increased, we moved to a new house etc. I had put on a lot of weight , energy levels where low and overall fitness had deteriorated.I started my search for a place that combined strength and condition training, I wanted a gym that was not too big, and one were sessions where limited in size. The last point was a main component for me because experience had thought me that was the best environment for me to train in as you get to know your fellow class mates which makes it more fun . Equally important is the coach is accessible and always on hand to guide and coach you. We all have different strengths and weakness and as such different training needs and with a coach on hand to address those needs that is fantastic. I joined Urban Fitness in Feb this year and it is a great place to train and get fit. The “Strong and Fit” classes are fab, they are programmed to ensure all body fitness improvement and the movements are varied regularly to keep it interesting. The “Sweat” sessions are what they say on the box. They are about building that internal engine but at the same time being fun. I also do the yoga at least once a week, this was the “Cherry on Top” as to the reason I joined. I had done yoga a few times and I knew what benefits it held for a guy like me at 45 years of age. I just needed to be consistent and it is paying off.Since I have joined, I have lost body fat, built muscle mass and I’m more flexible. The environment is great, and the team of coaches are wonderful. If this appeals to you give them a call.

Absolutely brilliant 2 months i've had with Richie, i came to Richie with serious back pains on a daily basis, we spent a lot of time chatting about my struggles and what we could do to help improve my daily routines and help relieve some of these struggles,
Slowly we got into our training, always keeping an eye after every exercise, he showed me how important my form was, what areas we would build up to help support my back with core exercises and stability exercises,
After my 2 months I can't get over the improvements i have made! Not alone did I think i could never train again due to this injury cause your back is involved in everything but I also lost 5% bodyfat!!
I would highly recommend working with Richie at Hurricane Fitness, anything is possible once you put your mind to it and Richie is 100% behind you as he was for me to guide you on the right path!
I was apprehensive about going to the gym again after a long break from it. After my first session I straight away began to look forward to it and now it is an enjoyable part of my weekly routine. Michael shows you how to perform each exercise correctly and pushes you when you need the motivation! Seeing great results and definitely getting stronger. Would recommend the Bodycoach for helping to achieve all different types of goals.
