Launch Into Life

Through structured courses or bespoke individual sessions I support people to do the following: REDUCE: stress, anxiety, irritability, depression, overwhelm INCREASE: resilience, emotional regulation, calm, happiness compassion for self and others IMPROVE: memory, cognitive abilities, work and personal relationships, physical and mental health Whether 1:1 or part of a group I take people through a range of practices that develop key skills of mindfulness and wellbeing. These are a mix of meditations, visualisations and activities. Note! No sitting lotus, omming or incense burning is required! This is all about how to practice in a real way that can be incorporated into your everyday life. This is not counselling, but is therapeutic in its nature. Through open questions I will guide you to identify your thought and behaviour habits, which become apparent through the practices/activities we do, and learn how to see where these are in action in your daily life. From there you will be given practical skills to address/manage the tricky times and encourage/develop the positive aspects. Key facts about mindfulness: Anyone can do it and everyone can benefit from it without having to change who they are. It’s not woo-woo magic! It’s scientifically proven, heavily evidence-based neuroscience at its finest. It’s a way of living, so when you learn to tap into the skills that you innately have, it becomes a way of life rather than something you do. I’m a CPCAB fully accredited mindfulness and wellbeing coach working with children, families, parents, schools, adults and businesses.

What do you love most about your job?

I’ve always helped others. I worked on the care sector, then became a primary school teacher and am now a fully qualified and accredited mindfulness and wellbeing coach. Having experienced personally the grips of stress, anxiety and OCD, and k owing many others who have too, I’ve dedicated years to both personal and professional development. I now combine all my skills and passions to support others on their journey to discovering a way of being and enjoying life that means they are able to manage the inevitable ups and downs in a more effective, less stressful way.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I’ve been self employed for over 6 years and I would never wish to be employed again. They say you will never work harder for anyone else but yourself, and there is a real truth in that. Nothing comes from pure luck; it has meant many hours of hard, unpaid work to get where I am today, but because it is what I’m passionate about I’ve not begrudged a second. I always plough everything into the things I care about, and helping others launch into their life is exactly where my efforts are destined to be.

Why should our clients choose you?

I’m down to earth; come from a place of real experience as well as dedicated learning and training and so I’m able to create a space that fits each client individually. A good sense of humour, real compassion and a professional approach help me to help others.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes, absolutely. I have plenty of experience in delivering sessions to adults, children and families online via Zoom.
