Securing a significant pitch meeting for our clients - going with them to meet the buyers and helping field the tricky commercial questions... Then of course, seeing their living, breathing products on the shelves - or online with a big retailer!

What inspired you to start your own business?

My career was spent in several senior corporate marketing and managing Director roles - fair to say, I have an unrivaled amount of commercial experience... I saw an opportunity to help people who maybe had a great brand or service, but without significant resource or enough experience to place it in the sorts of channels they need to make their sales aspirations a reality...

Experience - we have 4 very experienced salespeople in-house and at your service - we have all put together very significant deals and speak fluent commercials on behalf of your brand.
Cost - our costs are billed on a predictable monthly retainer basis - which is significantly less than the associated cost of employing somebody experienced of your own. We don't bill for travel and will gladly attend any meetings within England and Wales on the aforementioned retainer basis
Convenience - we are all geared up to start on your project either at the start of or in the middle of each month - we look for six months work, as a minimum... But understand that sometimes a little more flexibility is required, so offer a break point at month three for either party.

I am looking for a consultant/consultants to support businesses across the black country on and ERDF supported project with financial planning. Working alongside account managers you who are assisting businesses to develop growth plans and grant applications for financial support, you will assist in financial planning, starting the ERDF "undertakings in Difficulty" Tests, mentor/review and support development of cashflow fore casts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets and ensure robust grant applications are developed. Contribute to the grant appraisal process and advise on finance option/sources of finance. You should have skills of able to challenge businesses while showing empathy that you are on their side. Ability to travel across the Black Country is essential as well as working as part of a team as well as individually. The assignment is initially over a period of 14 weeks but could be extended depending on the needs of businesses. Hours are flexible depending on demand for the service from businesses and the remuneration is £25-£30per hour depending on skills and experience. A full task list is available on request.
