We spent months trying to find the right care for our daughter, but whichever way we turned we were left underwhelmed and disappointed. We were then recommended the Schoen clinic, and I have to say it was the best decision we’ve ever made. Within a week of our daughters initial consultation she was admitted as a day care patient, and she attended 2 x 8 week cycles of the program, and she now continues as an outpatient. The progress that our daughter has made under the care and supervision of the clinic has been remarkable. Not only did they give our daughter the support she needed, but they also provided amazing support for us as parents. They were always available to answer any questions and reassure us when things were difficult. We also found the parents group of great help, as we could speak to other parents experiencing the same challenges and issues as our daughter. Our daughter’s journey definitely hasn't been an easy one. We’ve had many bumps along the way, but she’s made amazing progress and this wouldn’t have been possible without the support and care of the clinic. We have many people to thank, but we would like to make a special mention to our daughters primary therapist Tom, who has been an absolute superstar. His dedication and commitment to helping our daughter fight her demons has been incredible. Thanks to everyone at the clinic for all of your love and support. You’ve all been amazing! David and Katie

Our daughter attended two cycles of the day care programme at the Schoen Clinic and now continues in outpatients.. It’s fair to say that we were in a very difficult position when we were referred to the team at Schoen and we started on the programme within days of our assessment. Our daughter had refused all help previously but was able to engage in this programme. The support provided by the multidisciplinary team – admin included - has been incredibly helpful and our daughter has made good progress. The team are very joined up and it has been great to get all of the support under one roof – we also appreciate the continuity of having access to the same team as part of outpatient care. There have been many bumps in the road, and I am sure that there will continue to be on the journey to recovery, but we have felt very supported along the way. Our daughter’s primary therapist in particular, Tom, regularly goes above and beyond to support her and our family – for which we are incredibly grateful.
