What do you love most about your job?

I love seeing client's who I have treated over the years arrive in a state of desperation and despair learn the skills to build self esteem, assertively communicate their needs and set boundaries to protect, empower themselves and bring positive changes to their lives.

I have treated many client's struggling with addictions and witnessing the transformation in their lives as they move into recovery has been a real privilege.

Helping clients to address their childhood trauma and gain insight to how their childhood experiences have impacted their adult lives can be life changing. I have extensive experience supporting client's to reparent themselves, address their core beliefs about self and improve in all aspects of their lives.

What inspired you to start your own business?

For the past two years I have been working full time as a Senior Therapist, Changes Therapist and Lecturer at South Pacific Private Hospital, which is Australia's leading treatment centre for mental health and addictions. I would constantly have client's requesting to see me privately at the completion of their treatment but I never had the time. I made a decision this year to drop to part time employment in this role to allow me more time to work with clients in my private practise.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have 7 years of work experience specialising in crisis and trauma, addictions and mental health. I am accustomed to working in high-risk crisis environments supporting clients with complex needs, histories of trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, mental health concerns, alcohol and drug addiction, incarceration, homelessness and extremely challenging behaviours. I also have plenty of experience working with couples experiencing issues in their relationships.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Yes I am available to provide counselling services online via zoom or face to face in my counselling rooms located in Balmain and Brookvale NSW.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I now offer online Telehealth and both practices are cleaned regularly to prevent the spread of Covid 19.
