This place closed, and it's such a shame. Â It was beautifully decorated, and the menu was a nuevo latino type of cuisine. Â This is the only local place I'd rate a 5-star so far. Â We started off with empenadas, and I have to say these were the best ones I've ever had. Â They will filled to the brim with seasoned ground beef and plumped raisins. Â It was one of those situations where I wanted to be at home in my PJ's noshing on these while watching TV. Â They were that good. Â For the entree, I ordered the angus burger on brioche with a truffle spread and perfectly prepared pomme frites. Â The owners were there, and they were so gracious and funny. Â The wife came over to me and said, "You got the last burger. Â We're so jealous". Â My friend wanted something light, so she asked the chef to whip up something with veggies. Â The chef delivered with this lovely masterpiece of sauteed grape tomatoes, asparagus, etc. on a bed of whipped, buttery mashed potatoes. Â She loved it.The dessert was off the charts, but her choice was the best. Â She ordered the pear poached in red wine, and wow was it delicious. Â Have you ever seen a friend's order and had to restrain yourself from stealing theirs? Â This was my dilemma!It closed for renovations, and it shut down eventually. Â Hopefully the owners are just taking a sabbatical and will re-open this place in the near future. Â I eagerly await their return...

Johns Best Jr provides quality Italian food to the US-1/East Norwalk area. Â I prefer it to nearby Jordan's, Marinellos and JBs. Â The interior of the restaurant is nice and modern, nicer even than the Johns Best seniors. Â They have a full Italian menu. Â They have been working hard to promote themselves on social media and through specials. Â I expect to become a regular for taking out. Â A little on the pricey side given the restaurant is small, but the food is superior to Italian food from an average pizza place.This place just won the Norwalk Hour contest for best pizza in the area- surprising for a new place but well-deserved.

The food and service was excellent… I wish they had a board posting all the choices, sides and sauces. The menu card didn't mention the fabulous chicken tenders or the veggie burger (would have given some guests a different choice before they ordered). Once we found out they were available ...we tried them for our seconds! Delicious! I would definitely recommend the Cowabunga food truck!!
We make everything from scratch from the bagels and muffins in the morning to the tomato sauce and roast beef for lunch. 10+ years experience in the catering business. We know you will love anything you try and if you don’t see it on our menu we can make it for you no problem!
At Cove Deli and Cafe we pride ourselves in being able to proficiently cover all of the bases regarding different types of foods! We are primarily known for our lunchtime menu and sandwiches, but are not shy to creating delicious dinner meals for large catering orders. In the early AM, we have an excellent breakfast sandwich menu and occasional fresh muffins or cannoli.
We will always ask our clients their preferences, number of people we are serving, type of event, and if there are any special requests/allergies.

It hasn't always been easy, but I love what I do, my Cove Deli family, and the faces I see ever day.

During the initial outbreak, we made sure to take strict protocol on ensuring our staff was equipped with the correct PPE and following all COVID guidelines that were advised. We switched to a pick-up only model and have since transition back to a dining experience. We still take careful precaution at sanitizing our establishment each and every day.
