What’s your signature dish?

I don't have a signature dish. But one menu I get asked for often is the Tuscan roast. We start with pan seared diver scallops in mini roasted red peppers with pesto. Followed by an arugula salad with shaved fennel, pecorino and lemon vinaigrette. Main course is roasted rack of veal with a sage gastrique, tuscan herb roasted potatoes and charred broccolini. Dessert is a home made ricotta cheese cake served with whipped marscaopne and fresh berries.

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?

I believe in getting to know my clients and understanding their guests' preferences. We brainstorm ideas and collaborate to create the perfect menu. I'll present multiple menu options for your consideration, and we can fine-tune the details through some friendly back-and-forth. For larger events, we can even arrange a special tasting to ensure everything is just right.

What inspired you to start your own business?

There is something truly special about being invited into someone's home to prepare a meal. The intimacy of this setting elevates the entire dining experience, creating a unique bond between the chef and the guests. It allows me to not only craft delicious dishes but also to connect with my clients on a personal level, understanding their preferences and ensuring every detail of the meal is tailored to their desires.

To make the occasion even more enjoyable and stress-free for my guests, I arrange for payment outside of the event. My goal is to provide a seamless and memorable dining experience from start to finish, and making other payment arrangements is just one way I strive to make it about enjoying the moment.

All of the work leading up to the event is handled over the phone and by email. Some of the prep cooking may be done ahead of time. But final execution is always performed on site.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I started this business after the pandemic. I keep up to date with all vaccines and I am happy to wear a mask if the client prefers.
