Never had a bad meal here and never will. To give you an idea of how good it is, I orders flounder one time. It was covered in broccoli Rob which I'm slightly allergic to. .. What a treat! A homecooked meal and in grandma sized portions! You won't go hungry! So bad that I've never submitted a review for Lasse's before today. Â We were there last night and had great food in the bar. Â One of the things I love about Lasse's is that you can get whole belly clams here. Â So many places will fry rubber bands and call them clam strips, but Lasse's fries actual whole bellied clams (awesome!) that you can dunk in tartar sauce and wash down with a couple beers. Â That's how people are supposed to eat. Â Pile on some fries and maybe some chicken wings and your stomach will love you even if your cardiologist won't!We had the aforesaid wings which were very good, some corned beef and cabbage soup and some stuffed clams. Â Everything was fine. Â Service was great and we'll be back several more times! Â This place is timeless! Â There just aren't many places around like Lasse's anymore. We went to lasse’s for the 1st time tonight, we are from out of town. They squeezed us in without a reservation. The food was amazing open faced roast beef is as good as they claim and the eggplant parmigiana is mouthwatering. Service is great with a friendly family atmosphere. Our server Gina was awesome!
