What do you love most about your job?

The most I love about my job is helping people heal and being able to see a better future. I enjoy working with teens, women, and couples who want to overcome problems and be happy again. It brings a lot of joy to me when I am able to help clients see that once they are able to work through what’s holding them back, they may find they’re excited about what’s to come. They may feel more confident, and even enjoy your relationships again!

What inspired you to start your own business?

I am currently working as a teacher with the Toronto District School Board and in my 25 years of service I have been helping kids feel better about their self-esteem and self-confidence.

This made me realize that through counselling I will be able to not only help kids but can reach out to a wider range of population such as adults, couples and groups.

My desire to help people heal from trauma, depression, burnout and stress inspired me to open my own business.

Why should our clients choose you?

I use my expertise and experience to help clients meet their goals. I work with my clients as a team to build on their strengths. I want my clients to be able to imagine and create a joyful future.

Depending on the clients needs, I use strategies like CBT, CPT, IFS and DBT therapies. With new skills and ways of thinking, my clients can better begin to see life differently and cope more effectively.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I currently provide remote/online and tele-health therapy to clients as they can receive therapy in the comfort of their own home without having to commute they also save time and money.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Currently to keep my customers safe I’m only providing online and telehealth therapy.
