In 1994 that was not normal back then. Once we had so many people hire us that we could not keep up with the work and have a full time job we left our full time jobs and became full time photographers. To fill the time during the week I started photographing more corporate photography and family portraits.

I engaged Preston to do a private modeling portfolio shoot for a friend of mine. Despite this being outside of the normal focus of the buisness, I found him to be very focused and professional. I regret that some last minute conflicts with my friend caused cancellation of the project. I was genuinely looking forward to seeing what would do with the shoot.

What we love most about being a photographer is the great people we get to meet. We generally see our clients yearly or sometimes more and it is always a pleasure to catch up and be a part of documenting their families as they grow.
We decided to start our own business after years of working in related fields. Both my wife and I have bachelors degrees in our respective fields of photography and videography. We both then work for almost 10 years in our fields for larger companies before starting our own. Going out on our own allows us to oversee every project from start to finish.
