I am currently staying at the hotel with my colleagues whilst attending a software development conference. As I write this review I am currently in my bed and I have to say it is very comfortable here. I am currently staying in a single room which I believe is of an appropriate size. Facilities include swimming pool sauna hot tub, I have forgotten my swimming trunks although my client in for me there are of appropriate size and quality. There is a safety box provided in my room along with additional dowels hello iron and ironing board. The bathroom consists of a shower and bath along with the other usual facilities including power socket for shaver and beard trimmers. The weather in the area today was quite hot and the staff have provided me with a fan to help with the situation. Having inspected the room and all its facilities, linen and towels provided are very clean and of very high standards. Reception staff were very helpful during our late check in. Breakfast that is served in the morning is top notch. Breakfast options include cereal porridge full cooked English breakfast fruits tea coffee and various juices. Overall this is a great hotel to stay at one that I would very highly recommend to anyone.
We stayed at Como Metropolitan London in May 2017 during the Chelsea Flower Show 2 weeks ago. We were absolutely spoiled !
Very big applause and to the ever most helpful valet parking service !!! Whenever we came back to the hotel and needed the service, we want to thank you so much to every concierge who always seemed to effortlessly have taken the car key and drove the BMW away and it was never too much of a trouble at all. That was the most grateful moment and the truely comforting peace of mind in guest experience we think it just basically stand out and make it unique.
The room was beautiful and it has a fantastic view overlooking the park in front with Four Seasons on the left. Anytime you looked outside the view there was always the chic bunch having the tea or drinking bubbly in the beautiful terrace Four Seasons has and the busy London buses and taxis driving in and out of the mini roundabout on the right. We were also blessed with all the most sunny and hot days but still breezy in shades, imagine the trees were dancing and the birds were singing, this was the picture you look out the window every time. And this was the London I used to know. I just adored watching it. It was so vibrant and buzzing.
The room is modern with very high quality of finishing, panel control everything, Beautiful lime green and cream, lots of space with tuck away coffee tea making area, a very well thought design to keep minimalistic in tag. My wishlist would be if there was a Bose speaker, either provided in the room or on request that would be great. I found the yoga and meditation app on the Loewe TV and it definitely worth switching on while in the bathroom or when you need to wind down. On the 2 days when our feet are cracking up after the flower show, this was important.
The spa was wonderful, it has 3 brands available and one of them is Guiot, facial and massage were top notch, you could smell it to know the different, and from the toiletries they provided, all from this Spa Shambhala, I was hooked with the wonderful smell of eucalyptus lavender peppermint and geraniums everywhere in the spa. Quite fully booked most of the time.
In all, I think Como has equipped with all the needs for chic business travelers and small families. Its' modern and esthetics attire create a kind of comfortableness to reflect the modern London and the most attractive feature is so convenient to go anywhere and with Nobu in house, it was a gem we found on this trip to London ! Thank you Como.
Me and my mum stayed here and were really impressed with the hotel. Staff were friendly, rooms were lovely and clean and beds extremely comfortable. Had everything you could possibly need. Was in a great location too. The only reason I'm giving it a 4* instead of 5* is because I was disappointed with breakfast. The cooked breakfast only had the option of bacon, beans and egg. Would of been better if there were sausages and mushrooms etc. I don't drink tea or coffee and the only other drink available was orange juice which was ok but would of liked maybe the option of hot chocolate or other fruit juice or water. All in all was a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend. Will also be back again in the near future. Thank you
