Every instrument has its distinctive melody and appeal. A ukulele is a unique and enjoyable instrument that brings people closer together and creates a strong community spirit. If you are curious and would like to learn to play the ukulele, it will be my pleasure to teach you. I am passionate about music and have mastered the ukulele to professional guide others to discover the art of music. I have a degree in Music and Performance in Guitar by the UEL and had the pleasure of studying with some of the best ukulele teachers of the decade like James Hill, Terry Carter, and Christopher Davis Shannon – whom I consider to be the three aces of the ukulele online worldwide. My students are beginners and intermediate players of all ages, all with different whims, styles, and learning pace. I customise my lessons to suit each student’s learning abilities and use a fun and inspiring methodology that engages my students, so they grow at their own pace. If you hire me, our lessons are never hurried but designed to encourage you to practice well, bond with the instrument, and find your musical footing. Having taught students from various backgrounds, my teaching experiences have given me a degree of patience to connect with my students and understand that everybody progresses in their way. I choose a repertoire designed to build your knowledge and skills featuring a mix of popular songs and a few off-the-radar ones, including from my own material, so you explore several styles and learn to pick up your rhythm. As the ukulele lessons are online, I will provide you with a downloadable backing-track, pdf files and also videos of each lesson. My rates are very reasonable, and I offer the first lessons for free. If you buy packages of four lessons, I am happy to offer discounts too. If this sounds good and you are ready to move forward, please contact me to arrange a suitable time for your complimentary Zoom on-line first lesson. Thanks, and I look forward to teaching you at some point!
