Gillian is also a HypnoHealth Coach and can assist with helping you manage your stress and any anxieties prior to the big day :) We have been catering to the TV/Film Industry in Toronto for 8+ years, also corporate, private in home events, weddings, bridal and baby showers. We look forward to connecting with you so that you can learn more about us and what we have to offer. Also we are a boutique custom caterer which means no two menus are the same. We create each menu based on the preferences and needs of our clients. The majority of our menu is designed to be made on site and or finished on site and served. What’s your signature dish?

Our Signature Appetizer is our Tuna Bomb! Sashimi grade tuna, marinated in soya and sesame seed oil, with fresh avocado on crispy panko crusted rice cakes, scallion & ginger dressing, served with a dollop of spicy mayo! So Delish and so FUN!!

One of our Signature Main dishes is our Jerk Chicken - Chicken thighs, deboned and seasoned, seared and then slow roasted in the oven in our house sweet and spicy Jerk Sauce, served with traditional 'Rice n Peas', mango tropical slaw and fried plantains AND
Madagascar Flambé Canadian 8 ounce Prime Filet Mignon, marinated in sesame oil, soya, balsamic, basil, ginger and garlic. Pan seared and finished in the oven, topped with in-house Tandoori dusted Foie Gras OR French Gorgonzola, served with a Green peppercorn and brandy 'jus' over coral mash of sweet and white potatoes, and seasonal market vegetables

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?

Glen & Gillian speak with the client to learn as much as possible about what they like and want! Every menu is customized to suit the clients desires. We have no two menus alike. As Chef Glenroy is truly a phenomenal chef he's able to create many delicious dishes. Together they will speak with you to ensure that your menu is just as you like it for your special day and event.

What do you love most about your job?

We absolutely love to create and serve! We believe that food is love made edible and especially for weddings it's the food that is always talked about years later. Food brings people together, the flavours and Chef Glenroy says we eat with our eyes first so therefore our focus is to ensure that along with of course the taste and deliciousness of your menu, colour and presentation is a priority. When you have a good team in place for your corporate meeting, or your celebration of life, or your wedding day we know the importance of having a team in place that listens and understands the importance of timing, organization, budget and of course tasty food.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Both Glen and Gillian absolutely love being entrepreneurs, they are naturals. It allows them to create and design their business to truly benefit their clients in every way.

Gillian and Glen are partners in life and business. They love to work together and they know the importance of communication and providing the best for every client. They think of the details that matter, they pride themselves on organization and positivity which impacts every job they are hired to do. Together they know they can bring together what the client needs as they are both very connected in the industry to other professionals and vendors. Saucy Affairs does provide online cooking classes and date night packages. They provide the ingredients list and menu (can be customized) Then Chef Glenroy will guide you through the cooking and presentation practice along with wine pairing etc.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

Chef Glenroy and Gillian are phenomenal at knowing when to adapt, change and grow when met with challenges etc. When they were faced with these challenges they new that their industry would be impacted greatly. So as always health and safety has been a priority and when the time was right they designed and built Shields that fit on their buffet tables so that they could still provide the same kind of service to their Tv/Film Crews with added safety and security. These practices stay in place today along with other health measures, with necessary testing and abiding by health standards.
