Savor Catering

This is a follow-up review to the comments I left in December when Beata and her catering company canceled our staff holiday dinner just three days before the actual event and where I paid $2200 in deposit upon signing the contract. It’s very sad to report that up till now Feb 6th, 2024, two months after they bailed on me, I only got back $200 of the $2200 deposit I made despite multiple text messages and emails from Beata assuring me that I will be repaid in full within days. It started with I will be paid in full by December 28th - that’s when I finally got Beata to communicate back to me after I posted my review below. The date of repayment then got pushed back and back and until now Beata stopped texting or emailing back again when I inquire about my refund status. In one of the text messages, Beata reassured me “trust me I am not a bad person”… this behaviour is, however, no less than being a thief. I wanted to support fellow women entrepreneurs and even told her she can tell me what she can afford to pay and just have to stick with the schedule she set up herself. But some people just don’t have integrity… please be aware and stay away from Beata and her company to save the disappointment and lies. More...

I hired Beata and her event planning for our staff holiday dinner which was scheduled for December 8th and paid half of the total amount as deposit upon confirming the details. A week prior to the event, there was no communication when I attempted to reach Beata via email or phone. Just three days before the event scheduled day, an email arrived in my inbox stating the event will be canceled due to Beata is ill. I don’t know the circumstances but I knew it left me scrambling finding someone else to do the event in just three days during the busy holiday weekend. It was truly unprofessional. What is more unacceptable is that until today December 24th, my thousands of deposits have still not be refunded. I emailed and called and texted with no answer. The only email I received was to tell me to be patient. I am a small business owner myself and want to support woman business owners but I will not recommend doing business with Beata and KasaKozak and regret trusting them for this important event. I hired KasaKozak for our office Holiday Party this past Dec 2022. Johana and Beata were amazing to work with! Not only was their food delicious but it was also beautiful . They were professional, friendly and had great energy which made planning the event so much fun. Their serving staff were attentive and their bartender was a rock star! Food is the most important part of any event but especially a wedding. When Steph and I began planning our 150+ person gathering shortly into the new year we knew exactly what we wanted but had no idea if there was any one company out there who could meet our requests. After a few dead ends I received an email from Johana and Beata from KasaKozak and it was like a breath of fresh air. From our first phone call we could tell that not only did they have the expertise to pull off an event of this size but also genuinely cared and were going to do everything in their power to ensure our wedding was a massive success. They came to our venue for an in-person tasting where we were hooked from the first bite and they even helped map out where the food service components of the day should be setup. From there, the food element of the wedding was a breeze, KasaKozak offered an unbelievable turnkey solution, they worked with us to customize our menu, met all dietary restrictions with ease, provided amazing servers and bartenders, took care of all setup/teardown, and oh did I forget to mention the food was to die for?



Johana and Beata took everything we threw at them with a gracious smile and a make it happen attitude, even weeks after the event people are still raving about the food. We cannot thank them enough for making the day as special as it was, I would highly recommend KasaKozak for any event no matter the size or location, they will knock it out of the park.
