Tamara was an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped us design our 1920s home and did such a great job bringing both my mom’s and my ideas together — which wasn’t easy, since we’re from completely different generations (40 yrs age gap). She really took the time to listen to both of us and made sure we felt heard throughout the whole process. Tamara was also super thoughtful with communication. She explained everything clearly and patiently, so we know what to expect from each stage. On top of that, she’s incredibly hardworking — always quick to reply to emails or messages, even outside of hours. One of the best surprises was the industry discount she offered us — we ended up saving a lot of money which was already covered her expenses . We’re so happy with how everything turned out and so thankful for all the care and effort Tamara put into making our home feel perfect.

It is almost a year later and I am still loving the space that seemed so effortlessly created once Jenny arrived. I was traumatised by the move from a huge home to a retirement village. I chose Jenny for her honest approach when my daughter became worried that I was stressed. Jenny was upfront about what she could deliver, how she could deliver, costs and time-frames. She delivered on all fronts. She demonstrated a remarkable ability to listen to my mostly disjointed thoughts, offering thoughtful guidance throughout the process. Her considerate approach to my budget meant I did not have to worry about finance. When I changed my mind about flooring that we had chosen, she didn’t miss a beat, we were off to choose tiles. She monitored every order, delivery, work done and liaised with stores and companies. I would highly recommend Jenny to anyone seeking a talented and empathetic interior designer!

Tonia was great to work with. We were not necessarily the easiest of costumers, and we came with opinions and thoughts, and she was able to navigate things well and provide us with what we wanted while advising on what we needed (and did not necessarily know). There is much knowledge that goes into space, distance, proximity, pragmatism and comfort within design, not just what looks good, and Tonia balances both aspects of looks and function incredibly well. Highly recommended.

I recently hired Lifestyle Design Co. to build a media wall including a fireplace and TV unit with drawers and shelves. They also modernised the adjacent recessed dining room wall and the kitchen pendant light. The communication was always timely and they were helpful to deal with during the building process. Their project planning was excellent and they always had the right trade on site to keep the project moving. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a home modernisation project.
