My name is Tiffany Johnson. I'm a people helper. I have a passion for helping and encouraging people get through tough challenges. I believe God has called me to walk alongside individuals for the purpose of coaching and teachng them about how they are uniquely wired for the purpose of living a simple, yet meaningful God- filled life. I spent the early part of my career working in the broadcast industry. I worked as an on- air radio news anchor, TV news reporter and producer. As the years progressed, I made a complete pivot in my broadcast journalism career when I realized the long hours coupled with the fast- paced news environment was not good for my mind, body and spirit. Fast forward, I spent another decade supporting executives at various organizations across the Washington, D.C. area. I strongly believe in walking by faith and being obedient to whatever God asks me to do. For example, the launch of this Christian Counseling Service began out of pure obedience to God. I've spent nearly two years studying and training to become a professional Christian Counselor. What I love and enjoy most about counseling is that I help people become the best version of themselves. I enjoy helping people--all people. I'm a people helper, encourager, and truly enjoy working alongside individuals to help them reach their goals. I was inspired to start my own counseling business because I feel there's a great need when it comes to mental health and wellness. There are so many challenges that we all face in life, and I have a deep burden to help others in their time of need. I also started my own business so that I could help others reach their mental health and wellness goals.
Clients should choose me because I truly care for people. I share this truth frequently with my clients, and before we start the sessions. The truth statement is this: You can trust me to help you get to where you need to be. I listen to my clients with everything that I have in me, and I meet my clients where they are. There's no judgement at all. I challenge my clients, and stretch them by holding them accountable in a caring and gentle manner. Health and wellness is a deep work, and not always easy but worth it in the end. Even when things get a little tough durning sessions with me, it is my desire that clients feel and know that they've been counseled "well."
I can provide my services online. I work with a platform called Whereby which is similar to zoom or any online platform. The platform works well and is private which makes my clients feel like we're talking in the same room. It's safe and so far things have been working very well. When my clients log on to the private link, they have to "knock" before entering the secured online meeting space.
I've always worked with my clients online so there's been no change as of yet. For my clients, the Whereby platform works well, and so there have been no issues. My clients feel safe using the online platform because there's no in person meetings. This also works well because I'm able to work with clients all around the world which is always helpful in so many ways.
