I arrived from Cassino, Italy, in 1949. I knew then that my passion was food and my future would be in the restaurant industry.
My first endeavor was Gregg’s pizzeria in Detroit, Michigan, which is still in business today. My true longing was to open an authentic Italian restaurant with old world recipes using only the finest ingredients.
Always does an amazing job on the food! Got an order to go today usually we cater my kids birthdays or family gatherings and they always accommodate my party size and even if it's a late notice. Will always come to Picano's for our to gos and family gatherings! Keep it up Picano's
