As a dedicated Home Help, I am devoted to making life easier in and around your home. Founded in 2020, I offer home help services for all, providing a personalised and flexible service in Poole and the surrounding areas. I do my best to provide affordable solutions and take care to respect your privacy and preferences. I am blessed to live in the village of Lytchett Matravers, just on the outskirts of Poole with my husband and two teenage children. I love being in the countryside and the tranquillity that comes with it. I love having nature around me, especially the variety of birds visiting my haven of a garden. I grew up in Bear Wood, Poole. Prior to being a Home Help, I spent my career working locally in finance and accounting mainly in solicitors and accountancy practices, a few schools, a care home and some other industries in both assistant and managerial roles. More details about this can be found on my LinkedIn profile. I decided to become a helper in the aftermath of the global Covid-19 pandemic. I saw that there was a real need for help with everyday chores and help to support people to stay independent in their own homes. This also frees up some time for them to spend doing what they really enjoy. I recognised that in order to maintain their independence at home, many older people just need some help with the daily tasks that they may find challenging or tiresome such as cleaning, laundry and gardening. I understand that many adults live too far from their parents or lead busy lives, which makes it difficult for them to provide regular support. I also understand that the older adult wants to spend quality time with their children, rather than asking them to do chores in the precious time they do get. Although my services are inclined towards the older generation, I also provide the same services to new parents and working professionals that may want some help with the chores so they can spend their time, when they are not working, on more enjoyable pursuits. I provide a friendly service with a BIG smile, positivity, compassion, kindness, care and helpfulness. Throughout my life I have been engaged in my local community through volunteering roles such as treasurer, committee member and helper, with The Scout Association and Parish Council to name just a couple. I have pursued many hobbies over the years including knitting, car maintenance, aromatherapy, natural remedies, gardening, reading, cross stitch, home decorating, walking, singing, meditation, Reiki, seeing productions at both the theatre (especially musicals) and amateur dramatic societies, driving, cycling both on road and off road, researching and planning adventures, trips and holidays. I have been fortunate to have visited many foreign locations including Thailand, Sri Lanka, Canada, America and many parts of Europe. I have been fortunate to have had many experiences so I can share the wonder and joy of the world and life with you or your loved one. I am sure we will both have a lot in common with each other. TERMS AND CONDITIONS The minimum time available per Home Help visit is 2 hours. Rates depend on location and are from £14 per hour or part thereof, for Monday to Friday visits between 9am and 4pm. Other times by prior arrangement. When applicable, such as car trips, the client is to pay for car travelling costs at 0.45 pence per mile, any entrance fees, all car parking fees and any subsistence. Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to appointment for no charge. Payment terms are due immediately after services have been supplied. Payment method is by EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) by credit or debit card. By using my services you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions, along with the Privacy and Cookie Policy as detailed on my website: https://paulataylorshomehelp.wixsite.com/pthh CONTACT ME You can create a tailored and flexible home help and social care service that suits you. This way I meet the specific needs of each of my clients every time. Available Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. Other times by prior arrangement. I look forward to hearing from you.
