My Tidy Garden

Nobody likes weeds, they don’t look nice, they steal nutrients from the soil, depriving other plants in your garden and generally make surfaces look untidy. We offer a complete weed control service which may consist of; hand weeding, applying weed killer and applying mulches to restrict re-growth.

Applying a 2-3 inch layer of organic compost in your borders helps keep weeds down whilst feeding the plants and improving the soil. A black organic compost is generally more attractive than soil and helps plants and the lawn stand out. Alternative mulches can include gravel, stones, slate or bark.

Hedge cutting is one of our specialities. We take pride in pruning your shrubs, bushes and hedges in to great shape. We pay great attention to detail and always treat your property with respect, leaving it clean and tidy when we’re finished. We can also renovate or remove hedges & plant new hedges.

We offer a reliable, efficient & high quality hedge trimming service. It is important to trim hedges regularly to keep them looking good and stop them getting out of hand. Depending on the species of hedges in your garden and your personal preferences, we typically trim hedges, 1-3 times per year.

We specialise in seasonal garden tidy up sessions. A garden clean up is a one off visit, typically lasting a few hours to a few days, depending on the size of garden. The visit usually consists of a number of services such as; weeding, mowing grass, pruning shrubs, hedges & trees, & general tidying.

If your garden is getting out of hand, full of weeds or, generally overgrown & untidy, we offer a professional garden clearance service. We can deal with overgrown plants and tackle areas of weeds such as; brambles, Ivy & nettles. We will leave your garden in a usable state & looking neat and tidy.

We offer a professional plant pruning service and can tackle any plant including perennials, shrubs, trees & hedges. Pruning shrubs and perennial plants at the right time, in the correct manner, promotes healthy new growth and flowers, whilst keeping their size and shape suitable for the area.

We offer a garden tree pruning service for residential and commercial clients however, we are gardeners, not tree surgeons. If you want tree work only, that's fine but we generally offer this service alongside other gardening services. We can safely remove small trees prune branches up to 8m high.

We offer a number of soft landscaping services such as laying new lawns, installing pathways, applying mulches such as gravel or bark, painting or treating fences, walls or furniture, plant buying service and planting new plants. We do not offer hard landscaping such as installing patios or decking. We offer a professional planting service consisting of, preparing the area to be planted, improving soil and drainage when necessary and planting new plants in suitable areas to give them the best chance. We can offer suggestions on which plants to buy as well as source them for you at trade prices.

Even if your driveway, patio or decking does not look particularly dirty, you will be surprised at how much of a difference pressure washing or soft washing your hard surfaces can make. Usually resulting in the area looking as good as new. Using a detergent can also remove mould, algae & lichen.
