We spend time with you at the outset to ensure we understand your payroll as well as you do, and we reconcile your payroll before we return it to you to approve. Your payroll is not outsourced by us and is processed at our offices in UK. All fees are agreed at the outset and our fees only change if staff numbers increase significantly or you ask us to undertake other work for you. Any additional work is by way of a quote, so you do not receive invoices you were not expecting. We are committed to offering the best service we can, which is why we work with CIPP, (Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) and are in the process of completing the Payroll Assurance Scheme which is the gold standard of payroll processes and compliance. We want to improve our service and engage with you to ensure we are offering the service you want and are keen to hear any suggestions you have to help us provide the exact service you expect. Our view is if we don’t provide the service you want at the agreed price, there is no point in using us and we want you to be a client for years to come. We can provide references from our existing client’s and these would typically include a client who is relatively new to us, a client who has been with us for a few years and a client that has been with us for over 5 years.

What do you love most about your job?

The people. We love working with a variety of people from all sorts of backgrounds and all sorts of business.

Perhaps it is a little perverse, but I love to welcome a new client who has gotten into a bit of a mess, because I know we can put their mind at ease and help guide them through the problem. Last year for payroll, we saved clients over £100,000 in fines and penalties from HMRC.
Our HR Service successfully dealt with 82% of all employee tribunal claims. (Figures accurate for 2018).

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having taken voluntary redundancy from BT Fleet Services as a Management Accountant, I began helping people I know with accounts. Within a few years I had a small client base and noticed new clients that came to me were having issues with Payroll. I qualified in payroll and learnt everything I could, possibly too much. As a sole trader I found I loved payroll, it could be complicated, or simple, but if one takes the time to understand what the client needs, it is seamless and that is the key.

From their I developed other services such as BACS payments and HR, which I feel goes hand in hand with Payroll.

Our HR Service, particularly at our current fees is extremely popular. We offer a highly professional HR Support Service and it really does work.
For me, I wanted to provide a HR Service that mean clients were never alone with a HR issue, help was on hand, 24/7, 365 days per year or 366 if a leap year. It is frightening being a small employer with a HR issue and no where to turn. That is not an option for our clients.

Our fees are very competitive and the service we offer is excellent. We are undertaking the Payroll Assurance Scheme from Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals which is the gold standard of payroll. Our HR Service is ticks all of the boxes and more, much more.

On average we receive 4 referrals per month from existing clients and to me that speaks volumes, but don't take my word for it, I am happy to provide a quote and references from existing clients.
