I did three classes here whilst staying with family in the area and all three instructors were extremely professional and excellent. Very helpful and welcoming and made sure I was safe and had the best chance of keeping up. Have to say my fellow class attendees were also welcoming and helpful. A very good experience. It may be council owned, but I've been to very expensive gyms and had a lot worse experiences. More...

Good parking, very nice staff who are ready to help, clean and bright, we attended for public roller skating, only as observers of family. We have not skated for over 60 years plus, no need to break anything but good afternoon had by all. Went for the rollerskating. I put my stuff in a locker for 20p, wanted to take my hoodie off and put that in there too but it wanted another 20p! We bring our little one here every week to swim. The pool is always warm and well manned with life gaurds. Changing rooms could do with updating but serve their purpose well. Has a cafe near the entrance too.

This gym is excellent. The machines allow you to exercise to the maximum of your ability and capability. All the people working there are amazingly friendly and so are the "customers". This place has done wonders for my back, my legs an hip joints and my morale. It is a real pleasure to go there and it feels like a friendly club in which I am extremely comfortable. Fab leisure centre. Plenty of parking, it does cost £1 but you can get that refunded on the day at reception.It was my first time going with my son but we were both super impressed with the pool area. My son had a fab time on the blow up assault course, I was able to do quite a few laps, there was a smaller area with a jacuzzi and children's play pool and there was an actual children's pool as well.Definitely one of the better pools that we've visited More...
