I'm an established fitness professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience in weight training, running, swimming and cycling having participated for many years in events ranging from sprints to ultra endurance.

As a qualified Personal Trainer, with specialisations in pre and post-natal, nutrition and corrective exercise, I am able to work with a wide range of clients to help achieve their fitness goals - whether that be weight loss, increasing strength or training for a specific race/ event.

I've been working with Stuart for a few years now.
He has a more holistic and flexible approach. Even if you fall out of routine for things like holidays or sickness, he manages to keep your fitness on track whilst still challenging you enough to see results.
From nutrition, alternative stretches, to exercises for targeted areas, he has personalised my workouts to suit me and manage my problem areas, whether that be injury or hang-ups.
Considerate, respectful and thoroughly professional, Stuart is a great trainer who uses a mix of exercises to keep me motivated and to achieve results. No fuss and no nonsense, just intense, targeted physical work that builds confidence as well as muscle. A great trainer.

I’ve been training with Stu for a while - I find it hard to motivate myself so thought I’d look for a personal trainer to help me lose a few pounds before I went on a big holiday. Stu made the sessions fun and varied, which meant I really looked forward to them and I managed to lose more weight than I anticipated. Stu even gave me some quick & simple workouts to do whilst I was on holiday which meant I didn’t have to worry about what I was eating and drinking as much and I didn’t put the weight straight back on! I believe in really finding out what makes clients tick and what they enjoy. There's no 'one size fits all' approach in fitness - each programme I create is tailored specifically to the individual in a way that compliments their daily and weekly routines.

Ultimately, keeping fit is something which should be enjoyable rather than a chore.

Patience and commitment! Unfortunately there is no quick fix (Sorry...)

Nutrition is always a focus in my programmes - yes fad diets will see you dropping weight quick but unfortunately they're not sustainable as when normal diets resume the lost weight will invariably creep back on.

Fitness training then supports this. Whether it be cardio or weight focused we'll find the right mix for you.

I love helping clients reach their goals - whether that be weight loss, training for a specific event or just feeling more comfortable in themselves.

The different goals each client has also means that no two days are the same - life is all about variety!

All clients will receive a personalised sessions (never a generic session!), along with nutritional guides which will be reviewed together to monitor progress. Outside of one to one sessions extra, optional, sessions and activities will be provided which can be completed by individuals in their own time should they feel up to it.

All sessions will be varied and structured around their available equipment - so no need to rush out and spend £££'s on equipment straightaway.

The first session purchased includes a complimentary session which used to understand individuals aims and goals to ensure programmes compliment individuals daily and weekly activities.

Focussing on individuals wanting to first start out in triathlons.

Providing specific running, cycling and swimming sessions to ensure individuals hit the start line confident. Technique drills/ practice and nutrition will also feature as part of the sessions/ plan

*Due to COVID-19 running sessions will need to be reviewed on a case by case basis*

Available for one to one or group running sessions.

Sessions will be based on requirements i.e. endurance, speed, fartlek, and include mobility and drills to ensure running efficiency.
