I have worked out with other PT's but specifically sought out Emma because I wanted to lift weights, however after our first session I realised I would be getting so much more. Not only is she an excellent trainer, she's also just super nice! Working out with her is like hanging out with a friend. She pushes me when I think I can't do something, but on those days when I'm not feeling 100% tailors my sessions to ensure I still get a great workout. I always feel empowered after my sessions and get the sense that she really does care- this makes a huge difference. Since I began training with her I genuinely just feel so much better about myself. Any women who want to start getting into weightlifting, Emma is the trainer for you. I had only been working out for a few months before meeting Emma, and had only just started getting more into weightlifting. I first met Emma through a free half hour personal training session from the gym I go to and I learned so much from her and had such a great time that I decided to continue on with her as my personal trainer.
Before meeting Emma, I did not have much muscle, but I really wanted to get stronger. Now I am currently able to Romanian deadlift 65kg for 3 sets of 12 and can start to see my abs! I’ll be extremely honest in this review, I met Emma casually at the gym in September and my expectations were low. Not because of her, but because I had tried some diets before without sticking to them. Therefore I thought that by actually paying someone I could have improved somehow! I was overweight (77kg) when I met Emma in September, and now I’m 70kg, which is such an achievement for me. I loved how she manages to keep me on track when all I want is to bing eat pizza!!! The thing I am the happiest about is surely the way I look now. Less hefty and moody. Also, I love the feeling to be able to lift stuff!

Before I started working with Emma, I had a gym membership, and would go every week, but my workouts were aimless and largely ineffective as I didn't really know what I was doing. My one reservation about going to a personal trainer was the worry that I would end up gaining a lot of muscle when my aim was to get fitter and leaner. My worries were totally redundant however as Emma has been incredibly supportive of my personal goals, and has tailored my workouts to suit each goal. Working with Emma has been wonderful. She's incredibly supportive and encouraging whilst also pushing me a little further with each session. Also she has been really helping me with my post workout stretches, which I didn't know much about before starting my sessions with her. I really enjoy my sessions with Emma as she always helps me to push myself a little further, and she always makes me feel good about what I have achieved in each session.
