I can’t recommend MHR Fitness highly enough. I have been training with Mark for just over 8 weeks and in that time I have managed to lose over a stone! Mark has been patient, friendly and helpful. The accountability of going every week keeps me focused and motivated. The results speak for themselves. I never thought I’d enjoy going to the gym, but I now look forward to it every week! More...

I joined the MHR Fitness 10 months ago I wasn't sure what to expect but knew that I wanted to try to hold down a regular exercise routine. Like many, I've never been very confident using the gym equipment but with these small group sessions it's made it much easier, great clear instructions with explanation of what area you're working. The group's are really friendly and everyone is very supportive. Mark is always very encouraging, helping me to get the most out of each session. I joined MHR Fitness as I had lost my motivation in my fitness regime. Fast forward 3 months and I’m feeling fit, lean and strong. The small group sessions are a fantastic way to improve fitness and strength. They are challenging and fun with a new programme each month. Max and Mark are lovely guys who encourage and support you every step of the way. If you've never been brave enough to try personal training, think again and join MHR Fitness, I did and I've enjoyed every minute. Mark and Max are so supportive and the encouragement they give is second to none. I started on a 1-1 plan and I'm now moving into the small group sessions, having so much more confidence and believe in my own abilities... the results are overwhelming!!! More...

I’m currently training with max and can’t thank you enough, definitely couldn’t of done it without you, not just improving my fitness levels but I have gained much more confidence. I have been working with Max for nearly a year now and I have to say he is fab! I have been under going chemotherapy on and off for the last year and Max has been working on regaining the muscle and strength that I’ve lost through treatment. Max took the scary out of personal training! He listened to what I wanted to achieve and helped make it happen! Always motivating, he's personable, friendly and a great laugh too! Exercise should be fun, I used hate it, but now with Max by my side it's something I look forward to! Max is a wealth of knowledge about fitness. I've been training with Max for over 5 months and have noticed a vast improvement in my mobility and strength. Max clearly listened to what I wanted to achieve with my short-term and long-term plans and put together great workout plans I could do on my own in the gym. We would then focus on the key areas I had identified as my weaknesses and needing to improve. So this review is coming from a newbie, but after my consultation with Max I knew it was Max who I wanted to support me to achieve my goals, he really listened to what I wanted to achieve and together we have set realistic goals. Max has made me believe that I can achieve them. I was amAzed at how much I enjoyed my first group PT session and I have now signed up to have 1:1 PT sessions too. Max makes exercise enjoyable and I am excited for my journey ahead . Thanks to Max @MHR_Fitness I have gained in strength, confidence, ability and boy am I noticing the difference! For various reasons, training had dropped off in the last three weeks and after one session back with Max, I regained all that I thought I had lost. Training is a mental exercise as much as a fitness one. Max helps you to get back on track and feel in control, especially when life can be so demanding elsewhere. I have been training with max for nearly a year now, and I really noticed the difference in my overall well-being when I’m unable to do it for any period of time. Signing up with MHR fitness was one of the best thing I have ever done! I only had 10 pt session but I defenetely can see and feel the different.
First of all Max made me love to go to gym ( which is still unbelievable for me honestly) .
He is very motivating encouraging and he is always polite and respectful!
Now I am away for a long (5 weeks holiday) and first time in my life I feel like I can't wait to go back to start my training again.
I can not recommend Max highly enough! Thank you for make me believe that "I can and I will do it"

Just had my first personal training sessions with Max and loved it! I haven't been exercising for about 3/4months as I got out of the habit even though I used to love going to the gym! I decided to book a course with Max and I am so happy I did because he made me feel comfortable and it's a great start for the new year...also doing an amazing offer of just £97 for 4 sessions as an intro!

Personal training sessions with Maxwell have been the best money I have spent in a really long time. He has got me doing more than I ever thought I could do and his encouragement is unwavering he always pushes me to go that bit extra! His desire to help me achieve the results I want is evident in every session and I can't thank him enough for helping me to change my life around from someone who was never interested in working out to someone who now actually enjoys it! I have had a few sessions now with Max and am really enjoying them! For someone who is usually very lazy, likes her naps and is generally uninterested in exercise he has given me the boost I need to get back on track and back to a fitness level I am comfortable with.

Max’s passion for his job and best interest in your personal goals are evident. From my first session we worked together to decide on some targets. Max has listened to everything I have said I want to work on (mainly thighs, bum and stomach area) and based my work outs around this. With this being said, Max will work you hard! But only as hard as he thinks you are able to go, without not being able to move for the next few days!

Overall, I would recommend personal training with Max to anyone wanting, fun and varied work out sessions, that also teach you a lot about what will work best for you individually in terms of exercise.

I definitely couldn't have done it without you Max. I still have a way to go and it's been hard at times but the results speak for themselves. I'm so pleased I started this journey with you, not only did you take time to get to know my habits and work commitments (entertaining and events = food and lots of drink!) you also tailored my work outs and diet plan to suit my lifestyle. You have given me support when I've needed it or been hard on myself but more importantly you took time and explained to me that I won't achieve the results I want if i continued to be undisciplined with my diet and drinking. On top of this I don't think one training session has passed where we haven't laughed, mainly at my stupid comments but nevertheless it's always entertaining and never boring. After backpacking & travelling for over a year I felt so unfit and unhealthy. I wanted a complete detox. I started 1:1 PT’s with Max and attended his group sessions. As well as taking up yoga alongside the gym.

I have now been training with Max for 3 months and am over the moon with my results! I have never felt fitter, stronger and healthier.

He’s taught me all the right techniques, the right way to train and helped me with nutrition too.

Thank you Max for all your hard work too! By altering the 1:1’s depending on what areas I would like to focus on, pushing me in the group sessions, always being on time and never letting me down! �

Since training with Max I absolutely love training. Time passes quickly and the sessions are really varied. Max really listens to what you want out of a personal training experience, I have a few injuries so Max makes sure that all the exercises are safe for me too. He’s also really encouraging especially when doing sprints!
All the circuits and workouts are great and really motivate me to focus on my goals (even thought I really feel it the next day haha). His passion and knowledge for health and fitness is amazing and I always look forward to my sessions.
