This is actually not my FIRST business. I am also one of the owners of RPG (Restaurant, Pub, & Games) in Lawrence, KS. But that doesn't pay the bills (I make sure my team get paid and are taken care of instead). I have been in photography for years and the freedom of capturing the moment is... just exciting and fun. Photography is an adventure and I love every bit of it.
My degree is in Theatre, I have had 8 years of professional voice lessons and sung in some fantastic places (including Carnegie Hall), I was also in the military and went overseas in 2008-09, and I was the Technical Director for a nation-wide logistics company for many years as well. So with my creative passion, my adherence to schedules and plans and team collaboration, and my deep understanding of the technology I am holding... honestly, I have often asked myself why I didn't start in photography sooner.
But I guess the decision four years ago to jump in was the right one.
I don't provide photography (well, I do) but what I really provide is peace of mind. I am a photographer, but I have experience in handling almost every situation you are experiencing and know how to work through or around any issues you may have. I haven't had a client yet say that they didn't have a great experience.
I am totally down for discussing and planning online or remotely... but it is hard to take photos that way.
Whatever you need me to do to make you feel safe I will do. I have photographed in masks, kept socially distanced, and much more for my clients should they request it.
