What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

I wouldn't necessarily say there is a "secret" but rather a combination where understanding mechanics meets creativity. You can teach someone how to operate a camera all day but, if they do not have a creative eye, bringing a picture or rather a moment to life will be near impossible. If you have the creative eye but lack the mechanics similarly you will be hitting a wall. At the end of the day its about seeing the creativity & beauty in things around you & up to the photographer to determine how to bring it to life & tell a story.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

What is your budget? Do you have a date or time frame? What type of coverage are you looking for? Is there any specific moments you are looking to have captured? Any special circumstances?

What do you love most about your job?

I love that my job is not really a job - at least to me. Photography has been my passion & I have a love to capturing these fleeting moments in our life. I love telling stories & bringing to life moments so people can feel as if they are there. It never seems like I am working because I solely love what I do so much.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I'm not sure if you would call it inspired but, I am a more creative/free spirit type. Not to say I don't enjoy organization/structure but, I love capturing all moments with my camera. I'm not the type to be put in a box so by creating my own business I can do all styles of photography, make my own schedule, and not be forced to be X type of person when I'm more of an XYZ type of person.

Why should our clients choose you?

My style is one of kind. When you're looking for a photographer your seeking someone who's going to capture & tell your story so you can look back on it for years to come. I like to consider myself, at times, a fly on the wall. I like to let people interact, make fun of each other, or rather as I say You Do You! so sessions are more life like. I don't try to hide or run from who I am but rather bring that to my work. I'm loud, fun, outgoing, dramatic, and moody at times - which is exactly my style. If you're looking for plain and boring thats not me.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

For all sessions I maintain a minimum of 6 ft & always wear a mask. I will not photograph any events that do not follow county, city, or state Covid-19 protocols.
