Several companies later (and they’re all still operating mind you), along comes a pandemic that gave me pause and a moment to think. I got a chance to do something that few people get at this point in their life. I got to choose what I wanted to do most and enjoy every moment of it. In the world of business, nothing beats the thrill of starting a new venture or moving a business to the next level; outlining a solid strategy and then seeing it come to life. I’m now a Fractional CMO of several companies in the Charlotte area. I advise on strategy, decisions, growth, and marketing. My ideal client is someone who has been in business for a long time through hard work and has never had much success with marketing agencies. Someone who knows their company is greater than the number of customers walking through the door. PPC is an agency, but we are focused on teaching you the discipline of delivering your message and walking with you to your next goal in life. What do you love most about your job?

Getting people excited about message-building. Pulling the curtain away and showing them how the process works. Being able to have a conversation as a marketer, but on the same level as an entrepreneur. I've done this before, many times, and I know it's stressful but the rewards are worth it. Taking the first step towards ownership, or risking a stable thing to make it grow into an even bigger business, those moments were heavy but looking back and seeing where I am makes me smile.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I'm a multi-focused mind. I can't do the same thing all day long as a career. As a Fractional CMO, I get to change my environment several times a week. This keeps me happy and it keeps me creative.
