I think I am so lucky with my job. I work with people on the happiest days of their lives! In today's world, it's lovely to witness so much pure love, laughter and happiness. I return home exhausted but exhilarated by the emotional day I have witnessed.
My children! I used to work in the City in a Law firm and took voluntary redundancy when I had my boys. I picked up the camera when they were little and found myself getting involved in pre-school and family photography. This soon led to a friends wedding and it snowballed from there - I had found the job of my dreams. I completed my Diploma in Photography last year to plug any technical gaps and to give me confidence and I haven't looked back.
If you like my style of photography, let's have a chat. You will know after a conversation if we click or not - and that is very important! Your photographer is going to develop a relationship with you prior to the wedding and will be with you a lot on the day. I try to stay in the back ground capturing you in a documentary style - naturally interacting with your friends and family. Obviously I will give you some direction for your couple and group shoot, but you won't really notice! We'll have fun and plenty of laughs but it is your day and you'll remember it for being your wedding day not just a day of endless staged photographs.
