Only issue was that our emails kept getting sent to the wrong person with all out details in them! Otherwise it was very good and they worked hard especially in such a busy time for conveyancing!

My only regret re Wilford Smith is that we didn't use them in the past with previous property purchases.
Nicola Stone is handling a property purchase for us & she is absolutely amazing! They are prompt, professional & on the ball, always giving incredible attention to detail. It's so reassuring & refreshing knowing that they are handling everything so thoroughly & professionally. Furthermore, their communication is 2nd to none!
I would highly recommend Wilford Smith to anyone wanting the best legal services & at a reasonable price too!

I used Hannah Forbister from Wilford Smith. My word, it’s hard to express my gratitude for her patience, perseverance and fantastic work ethic that was demonstrated throughout the whole process.

As a first time buyer, I was a little ‘in the dark’ about what to expect or what I should be doing.
Hannah was very understand and accommodating towards my circumstances. She was only ever one call or one email away and would answer any weird or wonderful question which came in to my head. I can’t thank her enough for how easy it was.

Not to mention, the exchange was completed in under 2 months. If there weren’t delays by the other party then I’m adamant it would have been even quicker.

I would highly recommend using Hannah, the level or service and attention to detail is second to none. Thank you Hannah!

We are the lawyers allowing you to focus on what you do best, We will advise on all issues and dont use templates for things. We will also think commercially rather than sit on the fence like other consultants.

We are a nationwide company but advice and support is offered remotely and if needed at court then we attend face to face

We carry out all our advice remotely on the while but when meetings are required all covid secure measures are used

Services

Every employee should have a contract of appointments given to them on the first day of their job.

This will spell out to them what you expect of them and they expect from you in regards to certain things.

Without this you will leave yourself wide open for tribunal action.

We will create a new contract policy and handbook for all clients to fully protect them. This will include things like a drug and alcohol policy, a social media policy, restricted covenant and noncompete clauses.

Whatever the issue you can be assured you will get the best advice from our team.

We don’t pass you from pillar to post like some others we give you dedicated advisers will get to know you and how you like to deal with your employees whether it be a buy the book or more commercially minded advice.

They will then give you any documents that are required drafted for you we don’t do templates

With the end of fellow upon us unfortunately some businesses will have to make redundancies

This can be a stressful time for staff and business owners and making sure this is done correctly is critical to prevent any future tribunals

We will guide you on the consultancy give you all the documentation that is required and then when you dismiss make sure that you are protected from any tribunals

Protected characteristics such as age, gender, race, religion are issues that staff can claim for so if you have staff you need to treat everyone fairly.

We will make sure that all your orders and procedures as well as the advice takes this into account to protect you.

If you use us this is included within our packages as if you follow our advice and a case arises, you will be covered for the representation and any awards.

This is covered by our market leasing indemnity insurance.

We can represent clients who don’t use us for support to show how good we are when required.

If you make an arrangement with an employee to leave these are included in our packages.

We can do these as one off agreements for between £350 and £500 depending on the complexity.
