I so wanted to write a positive review, but. The sales process was brilliant ,no pressure, left us to think it over and gladly returned after we decided. The time from order to fitting was really quick, 4 weeks in our case, a porch and inner front door so impressive. The fitters were ok friendly enough. Now this is where it gets iffy we had a thumb lock on both doors and were assured the porch door would behave just like a yale lock, it doesnt, virtually unuseable for a couple of pensioners. It is just way to stiff to turn and the lock itself is not long enough to get any weight on it. The fitters to their credit were not happy so they said someone would be round the next day to sort it out, after waiting in all day nobody arrived. Phoned the next morning to find out why and we were assured someone would be out that morning, we explained we were out in the afternoon. 1.30 the phone rings can I come around within the hour they said No we are out, come in the morning. Curt reply "I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow" that was 2 weeks ago and we have heard nothing from anyone since, shockingly bad. We were promised 6 keys, both locks are the same, we have only received 5. The trim on the porch fits well on 1 side but sticks out 1/2 inch on the other so the something isn't square and needs sorting. The video doorbell ceased working inbetween the fitters removing and refitting so we have had to replace. The sign outside we were told would be there for a week, it was just left so I have taken it down. We still have a bag full of fitters bits cluttering the place up. Far from happy. They talk the talk but sadly when it comes to walking the walk it just doesn't happen. As I said at the begining I so wanted to leave a positive review, but. Recently had all Windows and doors in our house, myself and partner are very happy with the quality of the products and the standard of work from the installers, from the first meeting the process was easy, all questions answered and great communication, the team were great and not pushy at all, What I asked for is what I got, customer service was great and I was kept up to date all the way through the order. Very happy and will definitely be using again when we decide to move in the future. Made the house look alot more modern, warmer and there is also less traffic noise. Avoid! Would not recommend. We had windows and doors fitted by Verdi two years ago now. Their salesman was very pushy and would not take no for an answer. After agreeing they fitted windows and doors as promised. However, the back door would not close. After several months of e-mails (in which they never responded) and calls in which they made false promises it was finally fixed. It took 5 visits for them to fix it. The final person who actually fixed it immediately noticed the problem that it wasnt installed properly and re-did it. An additional year on the brickwork is falling on the window as they did not correctly install a lintel. Essentially this will cost thousands to fix. Like before I have sent countless e-mails with very little response. I would highly recommend you avoid Verdi and look elsewhere. More...

My partner contacted them yesterday regarding a quote to repair some windows, they advised a quote can be given for repair as well as replacement, and both of us needed to be present and a date was set for today. He arrived, took my partner into another room to discuss, I was working in another room but available as they requested. He then advised they didn't repair windows but could give us a replacement cost. She went ahead with this not realising it would take almost an hour! She then got given a 'lower' quote for over £4000 for 4 windows, this was obviously a no, to which he said he needed to 'call the office to say it's a no' and magically a lower offer appeared but only if we took it out today. This was 45 minutes in and was a MASSIVE WASTE OF TIME so she advised she wasn't interested. At no point was I included or consulted, as they advised I needed to be. When he was leaving he made a comment to my partner asking about her 'daughter'. This was meaning me! We are 29 and 31 years of age, we definitely not look like we have an age gap! If one of us was a male, would the same presumption of parent and child still have been made?! With all the training they have apparently had, it's a shame equality and diversity wasn't part of it!! Would not recommend. Very pushy sales people, making up prices on the spot, wouldn’t show the breakdown, asking for 25% deposit there and then to secure best price, in the end had to ask several times for him to leave my property as didn’t feel safe. Then complained to customer services in December to try to prevent it happening to somebody else and as far as I am aware they did not bother to look into it. More...

I had my conservatory done this year.. there has been nothing but trouble with the roof with water inside the panels as they weren't sealed properley they have twice been out and still can't sort it nothing but excuses to me it would be just as easy to replace them but no just keep sending someone out. Even the men who came out said they need replacing. Every time you ring it's there day off. Don't pay for at least 6 months you might get something done. Would never have them again or recommend. Well after nearly a year we've two doors fitted but only after we compromised and had a white frame fitted just to put an end to the saga,one thing we can't fault is the fitters if you get the right ones we actually feel sorry for them as they work so efficiently and fast again if you get the right ones if anything the company could do with not making promises it can't keep as stated in there brochures and maybe improve there customer service

Shocking behaviour from salesman. I had a quote off them Sept 2021 to double glaze front of my house. The chap was very informative but really aggressive when I said I need time to think about it. This is not an exaggeration, he got very aggressive to the point I had to ask him to leave. He kept asking what's keeping you from taking the offer, I said I need time but he went on and on and belittled me. In the end I said leave! Stay away from this unprofessional company. Flat roof replacement work - very pleased with the peformance of the company and the standard of workmanship. Editted to add - I was so pleased with the flat roof that I hired Verdi to make a conservatory/garden office some months later. There was a major hitch early on in the build process, but the chaps sorted the root of the problem comprehensively. As before, punctual, tidy work and polite workers. Two brothers from Verdi have just finished changing almost all the windows of our house in Cambridge Street Shepshed. They did an amazing job. Very clean and neat. We couldn't believe our eyes when they finished. One would never say changing of the windows have been done. No damages at all. Something else - the house looks better now, without rendering or anything else. The reaction of the company was fast whenever we needed to speak with them Thank you, brothers handymen! After wanting a qoute for a 4m bifold door the ‘salesman’ came to measure an pitch. After 45minutes of working outs?!??? The price was £8600 for a 4 meter bifold aluminium door. This was the best price they could do. I’ve had other colleagues who have had the same ridiculous high quotes from the company and then call back with realistic offers. Went to a double glazing company and have ordered now for £4k. Maybe their calculator was faulty 🤣 Would not recommend as waste of my hour for just a qoute to be told they get parts from China. Not the best experience. Initially we had Jonathan come and quote for our replacement French doors and window fitting. Great guy and we would have gone with Verdi, based on Jonathan and his quotation! Tried to call Jonathan back for 3 weeks and eventually decided to call the head office and spoke to the customer experience manager at Verdi. We were told that they couldn’t get hold of Jonathan’s notes and would need to send Harry to re-quote! When Harry come to re-quote, we were met with a different price completely and told that Jonathan’s price couldn’t be honoured, as he had possibly made a mistake and that all the codes in our area had gone. I did explain that I hadn’t trained Jonathan and I had tried to speak to him for 3 weeks but to no avail. The next day we received a call back from the customer service manager who said he would look at both Harry’s and Jonathan’s notes and come back with the “best price”. The customer service manager did come back with a better quote than Harry’s but nowhere near the price that Jonathan promised. As a company, they should be honouring their staff’s quotations, as they do train them. Absolute waste of mine and my partner’s time twice. If their quotations can’t last 3 weeks, will they honour their guarantee in 9.5 years? More...

Pushy sales so we did not proceed with them to not encourage the practice. Out of 3 Sales pitch we had so far, this was the most pushy and upsetting. I think the good reviews may either be fake or from people who signed the quote without discussion. At first, the Sales person seemed very knowledgeable and gave useful suggestions. All was well until we got to accepting the quote. For a start the full amount was double our second highest quote but he gracefully gave us this discount code in exchange of putting an advertisement sign in front of our home. With the discount, the amount was still £4k above the second quote but we were considering working with them if they were the right people. We didn't tell them this but we said we were going to think it over. The Sales person then started to push us and tried to make us feel guilty ('why are not signing the quote?' 'Have I not done my job well in showcasing our products or are you not trusting our company?'). I don't know about you but I like to think before spending £15k. So I was very surprised that the Sales person went from friendly to really pushy and trying to make us feel bad for wanting to think it over. In the end he called his office to withdraw the discount code and laugh with them at our needs (we wanted to know the noice reduction the windows provided and if there was a way to increase it). Then he left. We decided to not go for them because: 1. the quote was now far too high without the discount code, 2. if the sales pitch is anything to go by, I suspect they will also laugh at you for wanting to get any reparation within the 10 year warrantee, 3. we did not want to reward a pushy sale. Rejecting them is the only way they will learn. 4. they were not looking to answer our needs, just make us buy their product. From a cold call on the door to an expensive quote I made it clear at the time of booking my appointment that I wanted a quote, no discount codes and no special offers, just a price for a good job. The product samples looked great, but I felt pressured and pushy sales techniques were definitely at play with "you said this or that". Where do i start? Waited around 6 weeks for work to actually start and 2 guys turned up from Verdi without face masks and asking for drinks! Work was started and Halfway through we were informed no door was available to be fitted for us and couldn't fit our kitchen window due to glass panel broken in transit! So no door or kitchen window for weeks and weeks then to top that the installer asked for payment before job had been completed! We had windows and doors fitted in July. Verdi phoned us 10 days before the fitting date to arrange. The fitters turned up when expected and were excellent, cleaned up after themselves and took away the old windows. There was an issue with the patio doors but this was identified and reported to Verdi by the guy fitting the windows and a replacement set of patio doors were fitted within two weeks. Had all 8 windows replaced at the end of May 2021 - great job and finish. Had a few different quotes from various national and local companies, Verdi were similar in price to many. All companies do the sales pitch, I think it's part and parcel of what they do. The product quality is good. We had the windows fitted by Chris who was fantastic and worked really hard in some very hot weather! We had an issue with one small top pane - once the replacement had arrived they were back to change it within the week. They were very clean and tidied up any mess after fitting. We had all our windows/doors replaced last November by Verdi and I am pleased to say the overall service we have received has been excellent. Their products are of high quality and the installation itself went smooth. Whilst there were a few minor issues to rectify after the installation this is to be expected given the size of the work, and everything was resolved satisfactorily in the end.
