Graphic Design
I was looking for a graphic designer to help me create an imagine for my start up t-shirt design business.
With no previous experience, I was hoping the designer would be able to lead the way from a technical aspect and be able to translate my vision into an end product.

Benji (Sootie Doodles) created Pip and Pop for me – two children’s literary characters who are very close to my heart! Benji quickly grasped what I wanted from only a few pages of images, colours and styles that had caught my eye…and he produced exactly what I didn’t even know I wanted! Describe your creative process.
They way I work. I like to work closely with the client to get behind their ideas and feelings of what they are after and why. Then with as much background information as I can muster, I create something that reflects the clients ideas, history, future in a collaboration of different illustrations. I often use humour and surrealism. My illustrations will often use metaphors and puns in the imagery.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
I like to know as much as I can about a client and the job so as to get a feel for what where and why I'm creating this piece of art. However I also love being given the reins with no intel and see what comes out at the end of it all.
We need to agree on a rate.
A time frame.
Image quantity, size, format and where it will be used.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the creative process of creating an image from an idea or a feeling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have loved drawing and colours since I was a small child and have never stopped pursuing it as a hobby, job and now career.

I offer a very personal service and care a lot about each individual client and the piece of work they are looking to come away with.

From start to finish. I offer the personal service of an in depth assessment of your requirements for the project and I will then proceed to send several options as the project progresses and work closely with your specific vision and direction. I then have a multitude of image producers to get the final piece straight to you.
