Q&As

There is no better feeling in the world than seeing the audience dance and enjoy the music your performing that you grew up on all those years ago. People work hard and life can be stressful at times as we all know, so being able to give people enjoyment for one or two hours plus, where they can lose themselves in the moment, is an overwhelmingly satisfying feeling.

Silveerock started in an almost accidental way. My partner Ann, who is a professional musician, kept hearing me singing around the house and she said to me one day that she's going to start a reggae band and I was going to be the lead singer! She thought there was a gap in the market for reggae bands playing the sort of reggae she had in mind. In addition, she thought it would be a good distraction for me away from work!

As Silverrock we have proven ourselves to approach each gig professionally, ensuring proper rehearsals no matter what size the expected audience. We have been repeat bookings at pubs, festivals and dedicated music venues. We research our audience in advance and tailor our offering accordingly.

For us, on stage is not just about singing and playing well, but about entertaining the crowd with a few jokes thrown in, trying to get them upto dance, basically trying to be engaging with your audience.
