As an independent, employer focused HR & Training Consultant, we offer a personal HR service to small businesses who in the main don't have their own HR professional. Services offered include advice, support and documentation on all aspects of HR and general employment law in relation to employers obligations and employees rights and entitlements, including:
Recruitment and selection: offer letters, employment contracts, staff handbooks, application forms, interview process and assessments;
Performance management: disciplinary, redundancy, performance management, long term ill health and capability matters, including formal meetings, arranging occupational health reviews, dismissals and all associated documentation, and settlement agreements;
Employee life cycle: guidance on family friendly legislation, maternity/paternity entitlements, handling flexible working requests, attendance issues, appraisals.
We also provide training and coaching services covering management and leadership, communication skills, assertiveness, customer service, equality and diversity and HR essentials. As Licensed Practitioners of Motivational Maps Ltd we can provide this and other assessments for use during the recruitment process or when succession planning.
We provide HR support and advice remotely for employers who are based anywhere in the UK, both online, by email and telephone. We can provide in person support for employers who are based within a 60km radius of Dorchester and remote support outside of this area.
Opening hours Monday to Friday 0830 to 1800. Friendly HR and employment advice which is fully covered by professional indemnity insurance.

As an employer with over 130 employees, we have been a subscriber to Rely's HR Essentials service since 2013 and have found this to be of invaluable support and assistance.
During this time, Rely has provided a variety of HR related letter templates, updated our terms and conditions of employment and assisted with our new Employee Handbook.
Nicky has also provided advice and support on absence management, redundancies, settlement agreements (including direct liaison with employees' solicitors), employee disputes, grievances and other HR related issues.
We have taken the opportunity to buy HR Time Credits and this too has proven to be extremely good value. Additionally, with only one employee in our HR department, it is important to have support for Directors when our HR Manager is on annual leave.
Rely also provide training on many topics which is presented in a clear and concise manner with supporting documentation that can be referred to as a reminder at a later date.
