We offer a private and professional 1-1 personal training service. You can either train at your home or at our private premises. We are based in the West Country but have sessions available in London two days per week.
We do also offer monthly memberships for anyone looking to take advantage of our evening class timetable.

I've been to a lot of gyms over this years but this is no ordinary gym. Ive been to all of the classes and had some 1-1s and I've not been disappointed. I really like the layout and look of the gym its refreshing to see something different. Everyone i've come across has been friendly and supportive and there always seems to be something going on! There's boxers in and out of the gym, I found it inspiring to watch and see how they train for a competition, it certainly made me work harder when I was there! Ive been going to Max Cranage PT for a few years now. Im not comfortable stepping out of my comfort zone but I wasnt happy with how I looked so I joined Kylie's Spinning class, it was amazing, the rountines were changed to make the class more fun. I have been going to Max Cranage PT for a few years now and would highly recommend both Max and Kylie to anyone thinking of getting fit, loosing weight or even just maintaining fitness levels. When I first started I hadn't exercised for at least two years and was very unfit I can now do things I couldn't have even considered before and I am the fittest I have ever been. They are supportive and friendly adapting exercises to anyone's abilities even in group classes. I’ve been training with Max for 6 years now. I’ve lost a total of 5 stone and I’ve completely changed my lifestyle for the better. I had no idea about fitness training or healthy eating and I’ve left all of it in Max’s hands and what a difference it has made. I hadn’t exercised since school and had no real interest what so ever, but after 1 year of training with Max I made a small step in signing up for a fun run which took much persuasion. I loved it. That then led to me taking up cycling and running as a hobby that I would never have even thought about before. It's been 3 years since I first started at max cranage PT and I'm still really enjoying it. Before I started there I was struggling with my weight and I was so unhappy.
I'd tried lots of different classes before but nothing had worked for me, but within a couple of weeks of starting with max I was seeing results! With great support from what to eat and keeping motivated, I was extending my class from 1 a week to 3 or 4 times a week. From HIIT to boxing, spinning to weights class, I love them all! The best thing for me was everyone works at there own pace.
Whether extremely fit or just starting out, you are all working as hard as each other. With everyone encouraging you to achieve your best!

I really enjoy training with Max, the workout is really varied but I particularly love the boxing. I was pretty scared to start with as I am very un-sporty, but Max couldn’t have been nicer and I am getter stronger and better with each PT class. Max is helping me with a regime and looking at what I eat- I couldn’t really ask for more. I started training with Max after having some success with weight loss on the Joe Wicks Body Coach plan. When the plan finished, I knew I would need a bit of help to keep going towards my goals. Since training with Max, my weight loss has continued steadily and the feeling of being healthier and stronger both physically and mentally has been worth every penny. I used to find it hard to commit to one type of exercise as I would get bored very quickly but I have been having PT sessions for over a year now and have never done the same session twice as it is always varied. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
We help our clients achieve their goals on a 1-1 basis mainly, focusing on functional and varied training techniques. We encorporate boxing, battleropes, weight lifting, kettle bells, weight sleds and many other training methods to get the results desired. This is all working alongside a diet and nutrition plan which we set and monitor.

I strongly believe that the three ingredients you'll need to achieve the body of your dreams are hard work, sacrifice and dedication!
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing clients progress from their first day to their last day. The benefits of exercise are vast and one of the mast satisfying to see is improved self confidence. This job can be about making positive physical changes with people but sometimes helping someone change their lifestyle is far more rewarding.
