We would 100% recommend Mark for your event. Mark is friendly and outgoing and communication was prompt with fast replies. He was punctual and fitted straight in with our guests. Mark hosted some gameshows and team based games at our wedding in September. Mark read the room very well and bantered with us the Bride and Groom (Marc spelt with C) and all of our guests. We were a competitive rowdy bunch but Mark kept everyone in check. Having Mark as the gameshow host meant that all our guests could be involved. We loved how the games were so varied and everyone took part in them. Team 3 really appreciated Mark stepping in and representing them in the arm wresting round. Mr & Mrs and family fortunes were amazing and some of our best smiles and genuine moments were captured during these games. As the bride, I wanted to make sure that our wedding had a personal touch while still keeping our guests entertained. So, we hired a Mark to host a quiz during the reception. Let me tell you, it was a great decision! From the start, Mark was professional and organised. He called us before the wedding to discuss our preferences, and he incorporated them into the quiz. He also took the time to learn about our relationship and added in questions that showed off our unique parts of our history. It was clear that he put a lot of effort into making the quiz special for us. During the reception, Mark kept the energy high and the atmosphere lively. He got everyone involved, and we witnessed friends and family members laughing and chatting with one another. The questions were fun and engaging, and the guests were completely immersed in the game. It was great to see so many people having a good time together. One of my favourite parts was the round that was all about us! The quiz master asked personalised questions about our relationship, and it was so touching to hear our guests share in our joy. It really made the day feel even more special and memorable. Mark genuinely made our wedding what it was! So personal, so perfect and fitting to us. Our wedding took place on 29th October 22, with Mark as our MC. He exceeded our expectations by far and if I didn’t all over again, I would hire him all over again. He was super. My guest haven’t stopped raving on about how great our MC was and the fact that he’s multitalented. Mark sang, danced, played games and truly new how to keep our guest entertained when we were running behind schedule. Many thanks Mark for the most wonderful day ever. He did a fabulous job with the ceremony, brought many aspects of our life together into the reading, he then also sang a song for my wife to walk down the isle, which was absolutely amazing. And if that wasn’t enough he also sang at our evening do, we wanted live entertainment and he just ticked all the boxes. Words can’t do Mark justice as we had the most memorable day you can imagine. For us when we realised that Mark sang, that was it, we just knew then that we wanted him, especially when you hear him. We used Mark's services recently to officiate our dad's cremation service after dad passed away unexpectedly. On meeting Mark, he immediately put us at ease with his kind and sincere conversation. Mark was very thorough in obtaining an understanding of dad's life, marriage, stories, quips etc whilst being very sensitive and respectful of our loss. Following our meeting, Mark pulled the eulogy together quickly and professionally and sent this to us for approval /changes etc. He also liaised with the funeral home regarding the order of service so we didn't have to worry about it. Mark's delivery of the eulogy and service was brilliant, and everyone commented to us on this afterwards. Obviously these occasions are usually sombre but there was sadness AND laughter in our service and thanks to Mark's delivery, this came across very respectful of memories whilst also engaging people with laughter over the funny points. Mark did a fantastic job from start to finish as Celebrant for my Dads funeral. He was recommended to us by the Funeral Director and we were not disappointed at all. We held the meeting to talk about my Dad so Mark could make notes for the eulogy in a hybrid way with some in person and others on Zoom. Mark ensured we were all heard and could participate. Mark recently acted as celebrant at my mother's non religious funeral service, and did a great job helping us to hit the right tone to celebrate the life of a joyful person. We will always be grateful to Mark for his kindness and dedication in the lead-up to our dad's funeral. We're not at all religious and it was important to us to focus on my dad and his life, which Mark delivered flawlessly. He met with us beforehand to learn all about our most important memories and communicated with me regularly to make sure the eulogy reflected what we wanted, editing it in line with my feedback. I actually cannot think of a good enough superlative to describe just how good Mark was at our wedding. He was a pleasure to work with in the build up and just simply blew us away on the day.
