Second time we have used Keith, this time for a Power flush of our radiators as two were not heating & again was really happy with his work. The job was completed within a few hours and we now have working radiators, he also advised of a few things that we need to get done and he left a quote for us. The price for the Power flush was very good compared to British Gas who I have a homecare agreement with & they quoted a really expensive price. So we had Keith out to look at our water tank which was leaking & had apparently been so for some time (we had only just moved in). He ran through our two options with an immersion repair or worst case a new water tank. I feared the worst with the 2nd option obviously going to be more costly & not ideal having just moved in but thankfully was a repair job & im grateful to Keith that he did that for us & didn’t just go ahead with a new tank when not really needed straight away. Keith and the guys have done an amazing job! My ageing en-suite was falling to bits. They completely gutted it and replaced the lot, floors, a partition wall, flooring, tiles, bath, shower, toilet, sink etc. They turned up exactly when they said they would every day and kept me fully informed all the way through. Maiia loves designing Homes-for-life. She believes that the building fabric should last at least a century and pays as much attention to hidden make-up of the building as she pays to the internal finishes. She is a trained PassivHaus Designer and has completed and certified five PassivHaus Retrofits (EnerPHits) which makes her one of the most experienced and competent EnerPHit low-energy designers in the UK.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Maiia's inspiration was a conference talk on the Self-built low energy homes. She believes that architecture and sustainable design walk hand-in-hand and should be available and affordable to everyone who would like to improve their home, and not only commercial clients.

Maiia Williams is an Architect, Project Leader and PassivHaus Designer with a passion for delivering cost-effective low-energy buildings, and a particular interest in full building refurbishments. She has a wealth of knowledge delivering zero carbon projects that target both operational energy (in-use) and embodied carbon (building materials).
Maiia delievered ultra-low energy zero-carbon high-end residential refurbishments for large commercial clients in Central London (such as Grosvenor, Cadagan and Portman Estates). Maiia is equally committed to her smaller scale private clients helping them realise their visions for interior re-modelling, extensions and full house refurbishments, ensuring that the projects are realised on time and on budget.
