I would give them no stars if possible. Took 4 months to complete my kitchen after numerous visits I have lost count the amount of times I have spent my days off waiting for them to come and put a fault right. They also moved my chest freezer which was not asked to and did not plug this back in. It was off for over 12 hours so I lost all my food and am still waiting for an offer of compensation. I was recommend to them and the person was told they would received £250 for doing this they still have not received the money and I wish they had not. Over all I would not recommend them at all and if you look at the good reviews they are all about the surveyor which ours was great just wait until they start the fitting. I am very disappointed with my kitchen fitted from kitchen plus, no problem with the fitters but that's where it ends. Many phone calls and letters,no further forward . First communication was within guarantee period. They have now refused to come out yet again to do the repairs unless i pay them to do so ,despite their staff coming out and taking photos etc previously.remedial work still outstanding. The last serious complaint was when our kitchen flooded last year , we paid for dyno Rod who told us the the kitchen waste pipe was not assembled correctly we have this on a reciept in writing.kitchen plus did not want to know and still have not responded even tho they have the report sent to them.we are very angry with kitchen plus as soon as they have your money they don't want to know .the after services are a disgrace not sure what the worthless 20 year guarantee is for ? The surveyor who originally came out quoted " we are not happy until the customer is happy " NOT TRUE ! After an advertisement online and my kitchen needing updated I contacted them to come out for a quote. I was honest with the designer from the start saying that I just needed a basic design. I was told a designer called Steve would be arriving however I got Jack who was relatively new to the job. Slightly cheeky by asking to use my wifi and charge his laptop in my house. Seemed a nice guy but you could tell he was inexperienced and no pricing was broken down just a catalogue handed to me while he was taking measurements. After everything was inputted on the system I was quoted £20,000? This was for an average u shaped kitchen with a new floor, extraction, hob and oven, a dishwasher and some floor units with no units on the wall just a couple of shelves As soon as I said that was way out of my budget they he started with the first time buyer discount then the express fitting discount and brought it down to 17,000. I again explained that this was way over budget for a basic kitchen so therefore they do not listen to the client and could have saved time by understanding that. The next day they rang back the next day saying that the manager has been in and he never comes in spiel and that I could get the same kitchen for a rock bottom price etc etc Another review on here states…Guy on the phone sounded like your stereotypical car salesman off a sitcom “I’ve had a call off the manager and this only happens a few times a year” so clearly this is a script and used frequently to attempt a sale. They wouldn’t state the price over the phone and wanted a fitter to check as they knew the designer they sent was inexperienced and said they didn’t trust his work plus they didn’t want to pay fitters when there is no work for them so arranged another viewing and for a quote to be reevaluated therefore I gave them the chance and arranged another appointment at 17.00. After waiting 20 minutes and no one arriving I assumed no one was coming so their loss not mine. However, I received a phone call at 18.40 from a fitter to say sorry he didn’t arrive at 17.00 he was busy with another client and could he come round but he would be travelling from Durham to Newcastle? Or could we arrange another time? No thank you! I wouldn’t suggest using this company after reading previous reviews, time wasted and the made up pricing which is quite extortionate in comparison to other companies regardless of the 25 year guarantee they promise. I got someone out last week, to give me a quote on a new bathroom, bearing in mind the bathroom is at least 50yr old with old tiles on. Andrew I think his name was, looked at the bathroom said we could put cladding over the tiles? . Everything i picked in the brochure was the cheapest as we were doing this on a budget as our kitchen also needs doing and quick, but the bathroom was the priority as my husband is recovering from a stroke and needs a walk in shower. He then tallied everything up and came up with the almighty sum of 10,000, now I don't think what I picked came to 2,000. I would really like to know how that price came about ???? More...

Today we were visited by Jason, who did a kitchen survey. He did warn us that it would take a long time. He ascertained where we would like the fridge/freezer, washing machine, hob,etc. He informed me of what size wall cupboards I could have to be more accessible for my lack of height. He even suggested a narrow floor cupboard to accommodate my soda water (substitute for wine if soda water is not your thing). He designed the kitchen for all my needs. He emailed me an elevated plan if the finished kitchen and gave me a schedule of works. He was here for about 3 and a half hours. Incompetent and dishonest company-… Incompetent and dishonest company- Don't go anywhere near them I normally don't put a review, but I feel I needed to inform others of this shambolic, dishonest and incompetent company. We contracted them to do my kitchen and one bedroom . Two weeks work just finished earlier this week after 10 weeks delay. They just turned up a few hours each week after several calls and emails. Their sale person made a few mistakes on purchase papers. The surveyor spent 8 hours in my house measured and measured, but eventually he managed to get many things wrong. He changed the colour of bedroom fixtures we chose without discussing with us, then denied it. Two of their kitchen fitters managed to damage 4 of 6 doors, as if it was their first time doing the job. They ordered the Hob they knew is out of stock to push their cheap stock to us. There is no project manager. A young girl was introduced as our project manager. She was a robotic call handler, and nothing close to a project manager. They ordered wrong items a few times as no one was checking the orders and deliveries. Their shelf and brackets were not matching in size they ordered. This is such a chaotic and rubbish company. If you go near them I urge you don't sign the survey papers unless you have read and check items in your time at home. Don't assume what they tell you is what you will get. They are dishonest and very incompetent. They also don't know of products details they sell. They show you glossy brochures, without checking stock or details of the products. Don't use 'Buy now pay later' finances from them. The finance company pays them quickly and as they are paid they won't be bothered to do the job as scheduled. Not many people, including us know that the finance company pays before job is actually done. They prioritise people who pay themselves not using their finances company. It is just another loophole in finance market that government is trying to sort out. My advice is to get a loan and pay yourself, see how fast they finish the jobs. Twice they ordered wrong fixtures for my bedroom so I had to eventually cancel the bedroom work. Their so called surveyor measured cabinets wrongly by 7-8 CM!!! I never forget that even their bedroom fitter guy was gobsmacked of such gross mistakes in measurements. I have now complained to the Ombudsman as a pre requirement for the court. Honestly, don't go anywhere near them. Company from hell is an understatement!!! And what makes me laugh the most is their cliche response to feedbacks!! clearly they are not bothered. We placed an order with Kitchens + for a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It should have taken 2-3 months to complete. It took 10 months. It was a calogue of delays, wrong orders, incorrect deliveries, delays, excuses, delays, tradesmen not turning up, order not even placed (so we had to change our choice of worktop), damaged goods delivered, more apologies and excuses. We placed the order with Kitchens + to ensure a stress free installation as they would take care of everything. We could not have been more wrong. Kitchens + are quick to take your money, on delivery of goods. Fortuntely we retained 10% of the contract sum as an insurance to ensure that the job was completed to our satisfaction, which, eventually, it was. We would highly recommend that any future customer does the same. However, we can not recommend Kitchens + as a provider. More...
