Tony and his team upgraded our conservatory for us, a specific adaptation in mind. After experiencing other companies either failing to show up at all as arranged or say the job was too small , delay or even say it was not achievable , Tony and his team not only responded to my enquiry within the hour but attended to inspect and quote in less than three days.
Communication was superb from the outset which on personal experience of other companies has been poor.
The bespoke job was completed in less than a month and we are extremely pleased with the result.
Ian and Leigh the were equally accommodating , pleasant and clearly experts in their field as the website says. Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot rate their work high enough.
To secure this job I researched and contacted many local and further afield companies offering similar services but FWS are streets ahead on client care , skill and service overall.
I would certainly use them again and 100% recommend their company.

We were impressed by FWS throughout a long process. Tony himself was willing to offer opinions and which options he thought would work best for a conservatory rebuild.
This was appreciated as we wanted somebody who knew the business and we thought we could trust (local recommendations) to help us. The quote was competitive.
All work has been completed as promised to a high standard. Ian, the lead fitter appears to be a master of his craft and was super polite and tidy for every visit.
All of the team worked well together and we'd like to thank them all.
Tony himself was a solid project manager. There were lots of delays in completing for a variety of reasons and we were kept informed each time.
If you are thinking of having your conservatory done FWS have been excellent with us, but do be prepared for delays in the current climate post Brexit / COVID etc. It might take longer than you think.

I went for my garage conversion with Tony because even though he wasn't the cheapest quote I had , he was the most professional outfit I'd seen .

We moved to Cardiff about 8 months ago and took on a massive project of renovating a four bedroomed house that had not been touched since 1985. We soon discovered, by our mistakes, to be extra vigilant whilst getting reliable people to work for you. Through BARK we came across Tony and immediately he made an impression, more so due to his civil service back ground. Inspite of having cheaper quotes I went with my gut feeling. A comlete renovation of my old conservatory. Tony promised me the earth and true to his word he delivered the earth. From day 1 he was there from measuring to the start of installation. He was courteous, his team was friendly and very professional. I am exceptionally fussy and critical but I can honestly say Tony, as promised has done exceptional job in building my new conservatory. There were a few issued that needed attention. On contacting Tony, he had no hesitation in sending a work man to rectify as per my needs. Changing an old style conservatory to a more modern sunroom was the best thing we could have done. We should have done it years ago but didn't have the confidence in any company until we were came across FWS.
We also had other windows and doors throughout the house replaced.
From design to completion, each phase of the build was carried out by teams who were professional, considerate and took pride in doing their job to a high standard.

Tony and his team did a terrific on our Garage conversion.....nothing was too much trouble, even when we changed our mind on one or two of the details. We had three quotes and his was in the middle, but still very competitive. All the work was completed very quickly and his guys were neat and tidy and their standard of work excellent. Tony kept in constant contact and he frequently visited to check all was progressing smoothly. My neighbour now wants FWS to do the same for them and I didn't hesitate in recommending them. Orangeries
Orangeries were traditionally a place for growing orange trees, but over the years became luxury living spaces for those who love the finer things in life. They have a brickwork base, a feature that for some people helps them look like a more natural extension of a house than a conservatory. Further notable characteristics of a contemporary orangery design are its solid flat roof with a lantern roof and its rigid columns and pilasters.
Gable fronted
A gable-fronted conservatory adds a sense of grandeur to any home. Featuring the same rectangular floor space as a Georgian, a Gable offers excellent use of internal space. The front panel of the roof remains upright rather than sloping back, to create a feeling of greater height within the Orangery.
P Shaped
This style of Orangery is often referred to as the link option, as it can be used to link the two rear rooms of a property by stretching across the width of the building, with the Victorian style extension to the structure giving the Orangery contours which are truly pleasing to the eye. The P-shape gives the impression of light and space, while giving the versatility of being used as one large Orangery or two adjoining conservatory rooms. Many P-shaped conservatories have separately defined dining and relaxing areas, resulting in it becoming an integral part of the home.
