By taking time to fully understand their current situation and identify the areas they need help with. It is only by really understanding that we can develop a plan together. Once the plan is in place then it is down to careful monitoring and adjusting as we go along to make sure it works and giving lots of positive motivation.

Variety and consistency! These may sound mutually exclusive but they are not. You need to be consistent in putting the work in weekly to see the rewards, lapses can really set back any plan. But, you need variety in the types of workout you do. Repeating the same thing over and over will not get the all round gains and will lead to a loss of motivation.

Seeing people develop. Not just physically, but seeing the mental benefits that come with a fitter body and achieving what they thought was impossible. I also enjoy the problem solving, we are all different and each client has unique barriers to overcome, working out how to do that is a challenge I relish.

I have coached in a club environment for many years alongside another business. When I sold that business last year I took the opportunity to start Fit Visual and focus on something I really love doing.

Because I am creative, experienced, emotionally intelligent and well organised. This sets me apart from many other trainers because I am interested more in you than in me! My creativity means sessions never get dull, and I am also a good problem solver and will always be working behind the scenes to help you overcome barriers to progress. I am very adaptable and good at spotting when people need a push and when people need a more supportive approach.

Remote coaching is my speciality and I choose Fit Visual as the name for the business as I use zoom calls, videos and and interactive dashboard to share workouts and feedback. Remote coaching time efficient and cheaper for the client than lots of face to face sessions. My clients are always surprised what they can learn remotely, even swimming technique can be very effectively coached by remote methods.

Remote sessions are always available. I don't touch the customer without permission. Like to work outside if it suits the customer.

Personalised triathlon training programmes for all distances; Sprint, Olympic, Half-ironman and Ironman. From Beginner triathletes to seasoned competitors.

We will design a programme tailored to your ability, injury history and goals. We can support you with email, phone and zoom calls to keep you on track.

Plan costs start at £49.99 and include 2 zoom calls. Monthly ongoing 1 to 1 support @ £45/month.

From May-Sept we run Open Water coaching sessions at Teignmouth and Exmouth.

Cost 1 to 1 £30 per session, 1 hour total with 45 minutes in the water.
Cost 1 to 2 £45 per session.

We can prepare you for any long distance ride.

These rides maybe Charity cycle rides or commercially run Sportive's. We can also prepare you for multi-day trips like Lands End to John 'O Groats or the Coast 2 Coast.

We can prepare a plan whatever long distance ride you are planning. Your plan will be tailored to your specific event, your experience and skill level on a bike.

Each cycle training plan includes;

A initial video consultation with an experienced cycle coach. During your consultation we will review your experience, fitness and injury history. We will discuss your training locations, bike, equipment and time constraints.

Your plan will include;

Training schedule and a variety of cycle workouts (indoor/outdoor)

Individual targets tailored to your ability.

Specific advice relating to your event.

Cycling technique drills

Mid-point review via video call with your coach During which we will review your progress and adjust your plan accordingly.

Cycle plans start at £49.99.

We can help you plan for any long distance swim. Typical swims would be English Channel relay events and swimming across large lakes like lake Windermere and Lake Coniston.

Long distance swimming in Open Water requires a very different training regime to pool swimming. The training volume can be considerable, but also must be balanced with the risk of developing or aggravating injuries.

Training needs to include both building endurance, developing open water skills and experience, whilst also maintaining and improving swim technique.

After booking we will arrange a 1 to 1 consultation with an experienced coach via zoom or phone. Your coach will review your experience, injury history and the time and facilities available to you for training.

Long Distance Swim Plan Content

A initial phone/zoom based assessment from an experienced swimming coach
A tailored swimming programme with distance/time milestones and a volume that suits your goals and lifestyle. The programme will consist of both pool and open water workouts.

Half way progress review via zoom or phone. A detailed discussion with your coach on your progress and any barriers you are facing. Following the review your plan will be adjusted to reflect your progress.

Open Water sessions are available in Exmouth and Teignmouth May-Sept.

We can help you prepare for your running event with a bespoke plan. Taking account of your running experience, history and goals we will provide you will a plan and support to get you across the line of your event.

Plans start at £39.99 and include 2 zoom calls and email support.

We provide strength and conditioning sessions to improve your muscle tone and strength. We work with all abilities, from those who are just starting in exercise to seasoned athletes.

We can help you develop your core, lower body and upper body strength depending on your goals. All workouts include a significant component of core strength as this is key to safely participating in all activities. Prior to working with you we will assess your history, injuries and goals and ensure the programme is tailored to you.

We can also incorporate cardio activity into the S+C session to give you an all round workout.

Sessions can be delivered remotely to your home or face to face within a 5 mile radius of Exeter.
