My Son and his friend celebrated his 21st Birthday with a gift day experience yesterday. I can highly commend the expertise and professionalism of Dean and Geoff Nelson. As a songwriter, I usually find it difficult to trust other people in executing my original songs exactly how I envision them. Wow. I don't know where to start. My name is Morgan, I am a singer/songwriter from Brighton. For the past few months, I have been looking for a recording studio to record some songs that I have written. A friend recommended Generation Studio to me as he had previously recorded there and the quality and production of his songs are incredible! I phoned them up and booked in a day recording session. They were so helpful over the phone and answered all the questions I had! On the day I turned up with my band and was met by Dean, he was very welcoming and made myself and my band feel very at home. We managed to record, mix and master my whole song in less than 6 hours. I am so happy that I chose to record at Generation, not only are their prices incredible for the service you get but Dean also really understood the music and direction that I wanted to go in and he really helped me take my song to the next level. What do you love most about your job?
Knowing the the song i am working on has captured a moment in the artists life, and leave the studio with a song they are proud of.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Since finishing university in 2014, I began renting studio spaces so I could work on projects with artists until it reached the point where I needed a permeant location. It was at this point I understood the industry and Generation Studio was created.
