On the whole Celsius Home Improvements Ltd are a decent company, their fitters do a great job from start to finish. We have had a number of jobs completed by this company, firstly we had two composite doors fitted (front and back) they looked great and performed well to, that was until around May/June 2021 when the locking mechanism become faulty on the front door. I since contacted Celsius on numerous occasions about the fault and emailed pictures to assist. An employee visited on 8 June looked at the issue and went away, nothing more heard from Celsius so I rang again on 18 October and spoke to Lee who said an employee will call around next day which they did. The employee said thy would order a new locking mechanism. I waited a number of weeks due to COVID and delivery issues and spoke to Lee again on 9 November for an update, Lee told me that the locking mechanism was in stock, but they are awaiting the barrel, which should be in by this coming weekend and fitted. On 29 November I again rang Celsius to be told they are still awaiting the barrel and they would contact me once it arrives. Having searched around and requesting quotes to replace our old front door and side window panels around the Liverpool area, Celsius Home Improvements were the only company prepared to come out, measure, give advice and a range of brochures to pick from before sending us a quote. I was glad they did as well, as the newly fitted door, top and side windows look absolutely amazing. Communication with the company was excellent and the cost split into 3 payment as the job progressed. Installation team were excellent, professional and friendly, going the extra mile (fuelled on by cups of tea probably) by refitting the original internal window shelves that were part of the original house build. Comments from friends and family have been fantastic on how good the installation transforms the look of the house both from inside and outside. Excellent job from sales visit by Lee to construction by Billy, Paul and plasterers and electrician, first class tradesmen, clean and tidy workers. November last year we got a set of French doors and all the windows in the house redone. We ordered triple glazed windows and explained that the old windows had been fitted poorly and were all too small for the hole and as such they would need to make sure the measurements were taken properly. We assumed this had been done. When they came to fit, the firstly delivered double glazed units not the triple we had ordered. Next a large majority were too small despite us telling them they needed to be careful and gave them permission to knock off plaster or render while measuring. They did eventually fix these problems but a few windows had to be filled with expanding foam to get them to fit and now a year later sealing strips are coming off. Very nice showroom and Rob was very helpful with options and advice on what might suit our needs. Purchased bi-fold doors and two windows which we are very happy with. We had an install deadline which Frank, Ian, Morgan and the team made sure we met with a high level of communication when we were close to the date.The fitters were extremely nice, skilled professionals who took their time to ensure the finish was perfect. They actually noticed a small manufacturing defect that I would not have noticed in one of the windows but they highlighted it and the team immediately rectified the defect by re-installing the following day with new parts.Before leaving they ensured that we knew exactly how to operate the doors and advised on tips to maintain the door mechanism.I would happily recommend Celsius and their products! Excellent people to deal with. Good creative advice at the design stage as we decided what to do with the more unusual doors and windows in our package. Impressed that they came again to check measure on the out of the ordinary bits. Installation team were clearly very skilled and experienced. Took great care in all they were doing and made a point of leaving everywhere spotless. We contracted Celsius to carry out two extensions, one to the side and one to the rear of our property. In addition, a fully fitted Kitchen, Bathroom & En-Suite along with other works as well. Whilst not the cheapest quote we had received, my wife and I both felt comfortable in dealing with Frank & Jordan. We can both honestly say that we are 100% satisfied with the outcome, and all our family & friends have passed comment on having a house with a WOW factor for what they have achieved. We had weekly meetings to keep us updated with progress and forecast dates for completion of certain works. Whilst we did have some minor snags (I must stress minor), surely to be expected on a project of this size, they were not questioned but corrected in a very positive and timely manner. Frank came to our house to quote for a loft conversion and an extension on the back of the house. He was very professional and seemed to know what he was talking about. Promised us a quote by the end of the working week (13/4/18) have yet to receive a quote. I have texted, rang the mobile number I was given and contacted the showroom I have still not heard anything. Pleased with extension, exactly what we wanted. Builders worked hard and it was built quickly. Regular visits from Will/Morgan to check if we were happy with the progress and standard of the work and kept us informed of the forthcoming progress. There was an additional expense with an alteration required to an existing window which was not fully costed in advance and we felt was a bit high. The other additional expense to the contract was for the extra depth for the foundations however this was explained at the time of signing so was not a surprise. Celsius have agreed to return and fit the skirtings after the floor is laid, which is good of them. We would definitely recommend this company. More...
