Bickley Barns

We got married at Bickley Barns in August 2022. Our friend styled their very first wedding and as soon as we saw the pictures, we knew we had to check it out. This was before we even realised it was just 15 minutes from our house. I got in touch and arranged to visit, the marquee wasn’t up but we had seen it clearly in photos, we got a feel for the grounds and spoke with Jen about our vision and their terms and we booked a date there and then. Jen was super professional and helpful but also relaxed, we wanted to have our actual ceremony there (celebrant led) which they hadn’t had anyone do before, but she was sure as well as we were, that we could make it work. We hadn’t viewed any other venues but we knew Bickley Barns and the team were a perfect match for us and the laidback wedding we’d been dreaming of. I loved that we could pretty much do whatever we wanted. We had complete autonomy when choosing the caterers, stylist, celebrant, layout, entertainment etc. I had regular contact with Jen throughout the planning stage, she was easy to communicate with and got excited with us which was so nice! She was super organised and made sure we had every last detail covered. Our big day at Bickley Barns was perfect! Jen and Teresa were angels on the day, and by this point felt like friends. The grounds looked so beautiful, and everyone commented on how much they loved the venue. The whole day ran so smoothly and everyone (including me) was so happy and relaxed. We had the best day ever! Where to start with our review for this venue?! Everything about our wedding day was absolutely perfect & we wouldn’t have changed a thing. The owners of Bickley Barns were incredibly helpful from start to finish, including the planning stages, setting up the venue the day before, being available on our wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly, and clearing up at the venue afterwards. They have good links to local suppliers for anything you might need to organise for the big day including catering, floristry and equipment hire, and the venue itself is stunning. I went with a friend for a tour of this family run wedding venue. She’s going to have some photos taken here on what would have been her 2020 wedding day, such a lovely idea. The girls were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, we felt very spoilt. More...

A great family ran business in a beautiful rural setting , I attended a friends wedding here and had the best day it ran so smoothly and the grounds were so gorgeous Would 100% reccomend for your special day!

Lovely venue. Peaceful and scenic, but not too far from local amenities. An ideal wedding venue.
