Stayed on the campsite and went to the pub on the first night, meal excellent and extremely friendly staff, online ordering system a bit odd, but soon put to rights by the lady behind the bar, would definitely go again.

Liked: Great for young children, my 2 five year old granddaughters loved the pool and the park. Toilets and showers were basic but clean. Disliked: The pool and outside seating just needed a good clean. I’m gluten free but the bar didn’t stock any gluten free beers/lagers but the staff still tried to get me to have a normal beer assuring me that it was gluten free! My party drank plenty of their beers and I just took my own beer in, which they didn’t endorse but equally didn’t stop me. More...

Liked: Don’t get me wrong It is a no frills site…. So if you are expecting a perfect prestine campsite this isn’t for you. However, the hospitality of the owner Dougie was without a doubt a winner for us. We were there for bingo night and the Halloween disco and he really does put a 110 percent effort in. Bingo was a great laugh with supper thrown in with your ticket price. All the food went so Dougie quickly got more on. The Halloween disco was amazing. The amount of effort that was put in was amazing. No child felt left out. Everyone got treats. Bbq prices were more than fair. And the fireworks were a great end. Fully stocked bar. Again, it’s a no frills pub but has a good atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming as well as the locals. We didn’t eat in the pub but food looked good. Showers are nice and hot. They are 20p a minute so take some change. Toilets were clean. Pool was a great addition for the kids, it kept them entertained. Would most certainly return.Disliked: It was untidy in places but this didn’t really bother us. It could be tidied up but didn’t affect our trip at all. More...
