It goes without saying that getting this right is one of the most important elements of employing people. Your contracts set out the framework of the employer/employee relationship as well as formalise both parties expectations. Get them right and they provide realistic management control; get them wrong and you can find yourself at the mercy of employment legislation. With decades of experience, HR:4UK will ensure your various types of employment contract are both fit for purpose and legally enforceable.
Policies & Handbooks
Perhaps just as important are the policies and procedures contained (typically) within the employment handbook which make up the 'non-contractual' element of your terms & conditions of employment. Some of these are statutory (not a choice) while other policies might just be a good idea to have in place. Our unique cloud-based handbooks ensure that all staff have immediate access to all policies from the convenience of their phone (or indeed any device). We introduced the first ever online handbook to the UK meaning it is tried and tested. From the online handbook staff can also reach their employee benefits, apply for holiday leave as view an up-to-date copy of their contract of employment. ...You can include your own (non HR) policies and forms to the handbook too (i.e. time sheets, inductions forms, risk assessments)...
Online Employee Management System (eConnect)
HR:4UK introduced the first online HR software to the UK. Through our web portal the software provides the vehicle to manage and track all employee management tasks and activities: Maintains a personnel file for each employee complete with history Your various types of employment contract are uplifted to the system Issuing of offer letter to successful applicants Issuing of relevant contract of employment to new starters Upload and file other personal information (i.e. passport/driving licence/work permit) Issue and archive other employee communication • reference request • training cost recovery documents • working time opt out form etc… Various Standard letters Guidance and recording of company procedures • Investigation matters • Suspension • Disciplinary • Appeal • Grievance • Long term sickness • Capability Reminder (nudge/alert) facility HR:4UK policy is to continually develop and improve our services either for better functionality, or for compliance demands. Hands-on Support, Training & Consultation
HR:4UK can attend your premises to deliver bespoke HR support directly. This (for example) could be to handle a potentially tricky (or uncomfortable) meeting, or to deliver HR or systems training to either an individual or group. It might also be to offer consultation in more complex areas of HR such as TUPE or redundancy. Sometimes we are used to facilitate change within the workplace, sometimes we are just as a sounding board for employees to air their issues. After 35 years of helping businesses there is very little that HR:4UK have not encountered so whatever the issue, you can speak to us in trust and confidence knowing that we have the tools and the expertise to get you to where you need to be.
Our payroll bureau offers a comprehensive payroll (and workplace pensions) solution. Addressing all the payroll requirements, from weekly or monthly processing to year-end reporting. You simply supply us with pay and employee data and we will process the payroll, adjusting for any changes within the period (new starters/leavers) and calculate workplace pension contributions. We then send you the payslips and reports. It is a payroll service that really is as simple as it sounds!
