Hired to convert a double garage to annex. Things started well, but then went off the rails. At some point, Damien decided he was not capable of finishing the job, but kept us hanging on with excuses, while demanding more and more money. We eventually had to cancel the relationship ourselves after three months (for work quoted to take six weeks) and thousands of pounds over budget, including things we had paid for (e.g. fittings) not appearing.

Not only was the work not complete, but we have since found multiple examples of things that Damien has done so poorly/unsafely that we have needed to pay to have them rectified. The lintel he put in for our new bifold doors was of insufficient strength, so that the doors would not close properly and risked being damaged. The underfloor heating was installed in a way that was prohibited by the warranty and he sited the pipework for the kitchen sink incorrectly so that it would not connect to the sink as it was placed (by him). He also placed the socket for the towel ril in the bathroom. These are simply the major things that were done poorly. The smaller things are too numerous to mention. Would give zero stars if I could.
